Catlin Grade School is a part of Catlin Community Unit School District 5. It is for students in grades kindergarten through 12. The school s curriculum includes language arts, math, physical education, science, and vocational and instrumental music. Its junior high sports education program includes history of sports, terminologies, rules of games and sports, strategies, safety principles, and skill development. It also includes spatial and body awareness, contact and noncontact activities, team and individual sports, cooperation, whole class games, responsible behavior, technological tools, cardiovascular endurance, flexibility, and muscular strength and endurance. Its music program includes music terminology, functions of music, equipment use, significance of music, and relation of music to arts. It also has junior high choirs and bands. Catlin Grade School is located in Catlin, Ill.
