I filed with them for the first time instead of doing it myself and our tax preparer Patricia Vantassel did not do as we told her and put my parent's address instead of ours because we told her we were in the process of moving. We couldn't get it directly deposited because my fiancee was not on my bank account. So we had to get a paper check and we watched the woman type my parent's address in, but it wasn't on the printed out copy made for us AT ALL. So our check was sent to our old apartment and we have absolutely no idea where it is now. We went back and complained and they offered to call the irs with us, but they did not offer an apology or admit to any wrong doing. We will probably have to wait months for it and claim it was a lost check now. The irs has 90 days to invest it. We already waited over 6 weeks and now we will have to wait months more. I paid over $800 for my taxes to get professionally done!!! I regret highly not doing it for free myself. I do not recommend h&r block to anyone and I will discourage everyone I know from doing business there😠😠😠😠😠
