With six men and 46 yards of concrete, the Sword Masonry team changed our 40 x 60 building into a garage with this outstanding concrete floor, which is the envy of everyone who views their work, especially my wife!



Not only did Joe give us a prompt estimate, he also proposed ideas to save costs and recommended several concrete forming tips that other contractors omitted.



Joe came a couple times before the pour, to “shoot” the level and ensure the grade was correct.



The team arrived at 7 a.m.; the countless concrete trucks started successive unloading at 7:30 am. Using a power screed the entire floor was “poured” by 10:30 am.

The teamwork was amazing, built on years of working together. This team continued to work the concrete throughout the day, the power troweling was constant, edges were made perfect, the bevels at the 4 overhead doors were hand-formed, walls were wiped down, and even the siding outside the building was carefully wiped down. The last two men left at 9:30 p.m. after sealing the floor. Joe came back the next day to cut the concrete.

The Sword Masonry men are true craftsmen; their skill is not commonly found. Their teamwork, knowledge of concrete, and attention to the details has increased the function, value, and beauty of the building, for generations to come.
