I have gone to Laurie for all 4 of my deliveries (and a few miscarriages) and have felt completely taken care of in every way possible. I feel that Laurie is good at teaching and explaining everything that goes along with pregnancy and childbirth and then leaves the decision up to me and my spouse, not pushing in either direction and then supports whatever that decision may be! I have had an epidural and natural deliveries and again felt 100% supported by Laurie and her staff. I would recommend Laurie to any women who is having a baby or for regular GYN care.

Laurie is amazing. My pregnancies and deliveries get better and better with her. I love that she takes her time and genuinely cares. I have waited a little longer at appointments but she more than makes up for it because she takes her time with me. I would wait hours to be seen by her. She has seen me more than once in between appointments to get me in when I am in dyer need. I have never had a medical professional build up my confidence like she does. Her staff is amazing as well! I'm always sad after having my babies that I won't see her on a regular basis until the next baby. She truly is amazing!

I have had 3 babies with Laurie. Each different and unique deliveries. I have had an epidural and gone unmedicated. No matter what I choose for my birth plan, Laurie was supportive. She spent time with me at each appointment. She is big on education. I learned new things with each and every pregnancy. She encouraged me to try new things as well. With my 5th baby she recommended the Hypnobirthing class given at the hospital. She knew even after having several babies, there is always new things to learn. It helped tremendously. I felt so much more in control of my body, emotions, and the entire environment around me while in labor. She labored with me in delivery. She was always good to tell me exactly what was going on and kept me informed. I had choices and options. I was able to decline the things I felt unnecessary and educated if it was necessary. It is definitely the Midwife experience with the safety of the hospital. I knew if any problems arose, I was in good hands. She is one of the smartest ladies I know. If she doesn't know something, she finds it out. She consults with other providers and perinatology openly and as needed. After delivery, she stays and helps the baby learn to breastfeed if needed. Laurie Hansen does a wonderful job and I would recommend her.

I have never met a more genuine and truly caring person before, and to have her as my care provider is a privilege. She spends quality time with you each visit (even a whole hour if that is what I need). I never left her office feeling like I still had questions or that everything wasn't addressed that needed to be. I knew without a doubt she cared about me as a person, not just a patient. She has always done an amazing job and I have never questioned her quality of care. If there was ever something she felt it would be best to see another provider for that was more specific in that area, she always referred me and gave me and my family that option. I would rate Laurie with 5+ stars everyday of the week. Thank you for everything Laurie!!!

I have to strongly disagree with the review that was previously posted. Sucks you feel that way and are having a hard time but to place blame on Laurie isn't dignified. I expected an easy pregnancy but then my baby was diagnosed with a serious illness, and instead of referring me to a specialist Laurie told me not to do anything and just let my baby die. When discussing the possibility of a c-section she told me my baby wasn't worth the risk and she would be shocked if a doctor would be willing to do that for me, or even resuscitate her if that's what she needed. She talked a lot and hardly listened. I always waited at least an hour at my appointments and almost all of the appointments lasted an hour. I felt very manipulated and did end up finding a doctor who was willing to give my baby the basic care.

I want to express my gratitude for Laurie Hansen and what she has done for me and my family. I have seen her for all of my pregnancies, she has delivered both of my babies and will soon deliver #3. Laurie has been able to safely manage my pregnancies even though I am a high risk patient risk due to pregnancy complications. She has made sure to consult with other Doctors as needed for my high risk care. Both of my births were so wonderful. She and her office staff helped educate me and keep me informed throughout the entire pregnancy. Laurie Hansen and her staff are so warm and welcome. I also want to acknowledge that I have been able to decide on natural vs epidural labors without feeling judged or pressured from Laurie or her office staff. I did natural for my first two and now I am excited to give an epidural a try. The staff have been open to letting me decide what I feel I want to do which is nice to know that I am in charge of my own experience. I just want to say thank you to Laurie. I know that from the very first labor with my first child most other Doctors would have given me a c-section, but Laurie was patient and carefully monitored me. She knew how much I didn’t want the c-section. Thank you again Laurie and her staff!!

Laurie was absolutely wonderful. She listened and helped me with anything I needed, without making me feel like I was taking up too much time. She is not only very knowledgeable, but she also follows her instincts. I would recommend her to anyone. I've gone to Laurie for two births and am currently going to her for my third. So far, I have had both a natural birth and a medicated birth. Laurie never pushed me either way; she just took the time to educate me about the different child birthing processes, then allowed me to make my own decision, and supported me until the end. I will never go anywhere else! I loved the care I got from her, her staff and everything about my experience with her. I am grateful that she has been there for me.

I love Laurie and her staff I went to another local doc office were they had 4 docs in one office i never saw the same person and was always having to correct them on my info i changed to Laurie she was great its one on one care and she has a great office staff i always was treated with the best respect and when I became a high risk preg Laurie keep me as patient and had other obgyns assist with me. I was put on bed rest and she would come to my house to collect test. I was also admitted into the hospital and she was so nice and caring she would come and talk to me and my husband and made us feel like one of her kids. She has so much heart and cares so much about your preg and baby. I counldnt even think about my delivery with out her she was the best i could ask for she really knows her stuff and so does her staff. THIS IS THE BEST CARE YOU WILL GET!!!!!!!!! thank you Laurie/Staff for all you did for us you are angels

Went to Laurie for the youngest three of my four children. Very thourough- never felt rushed at an office visit, and felt like my concerns were listened to and addessed. She informs her paients, allows them to make their own decisions about the childbirthing process, and supports them in their decisions.

I went to Laurie Hansen for the births of my children and had an amazing experience. She was very competent, cared about helping me have the experience I wanted, and helped make a very important life event into memories I will cherish forever.The office staff is cheerful and helpful. A wonderful place to receive your care.
