We have used this facility twice and I am very impressed with the way "our little baby" Tanner was treated. Our neighbor has used them several times and he told us he wouldn't use anyone else, so we gave it try. My husband and I were given the tour by one of the staff members (sorry that I can not remember her name...young girl with blonde hair), but she was very polite. We asked a lot of questions, all of which were answered and then some additional information we didn't ask for, but was given. The place is immaculate and quite the "spa" atmosphere. Tanner is excited to go when we get there, so I know he is well taken care of, which is what we want. They have bathed him and trimmed his nails before we have picked him up upon our request which is nice too. We tried another place in Bastrop, which I will not mention, but I worried the whole time he was there. It was overnight, but circumstances as they were I had to let him stay. I will never again use that facility nor will I recommend it to anyone. The staff at Best Friends Too are always helpful and polite to us. Thanks for taken such good care of our little boy. I always recommend your place of business.

I asked if I could pick up my 2 small dogs on Sunday afternoon. The answer was yes but that I needed to pick them up by 4:00 p.m. We arrived at 1:00. No one was in the lobby but we could see 3 people in the play area outside. One of the ladies came when she saw us. She was rude. She was upset that we had not called to say we were picking them up. She went on to say that we were lucky that the door was not locked. . . . blah, blah, blah. I told her that I was sorry but no one had told me that I needed to call. . . . only that I needed to pick them up by 4:00 o'clock, but she continued to rant. This was the first time I had used Best Friends, so I asked if I could see the facility. She said "no". Up until this point I had planned to board my two puppies again for ten days beginning the following week and just wanted to see where I was leaving them. My husband had been listening to the conversation and he walked out to the car (upset) because he said if he had stayed that he would have said something that would not have been very nice. She eventually, and reluctantly, let me see where my puppies had spent their time. Also, I was able to retrieve one of my puppies toys that had been left behind. Maybe they took good care of my two dogs while I was gone for a couple of days and maybe not; I don't know. But based on this woman's attitude, I won't be going back.

This place is ridiculously clean, and beautiful. They have a pool, and TVs in the rooms. It's like a private resort.
