The Black Hawk Hotel is a 167 year old independent boutique hotel located in the heart of downtown Cedar Falls, steps away from the city's best dining, shopping, and entertainment. We are also located next to the picturesque Cedar River and its 100+ miles of walking and bike trails, and just a 5 minute drive from the UNI Campus. The Black Hawk Hotel is listed on the National Trust of Historic Places, and is the oldest continuously operated hotel west of the Mississippi River (and second oldest in the country!). As of June 2019, The Black Hawk Hotel is now home to Bar Winslow, a Prohibition-inspired craft cocktail bar, and Farm Shed, a farm-to-table brunch cafe, where guests receive a complimentary breakfast with their stay.
