Provided by YP.comUp until today I've been very pleased with the service. Today however I took in my 14yr old dog for a very overdue nail trim. This dog has been on immunosuppressants and on/off chemo drugs for an autoimmune condition for the last 2yrs and is under the care of the very qualified vets at the Centers for Veterinary Specialty Care in Lewisville. As a side effect of his age and the drugs he has been dealing with some severe ear infections which are also under treatment. Today the owner decided to question his ears loudly, in front of everyone in the building. Fair enough. I explained he is under vet care and she kept pushing. As an owner of a dog on very limited time, I found this insensitive, rude and after breaking down crying in the store because I just love getting yelled at for physical reminders that my dog has health issues, she still did not apologize. I will NEVER return to this facility again. The staff has been great, but the owner made an already difficult time much worse than it needed to be.

Provided by YPmobileThe grooming quality has changed. I've noticed our iizzy isn't as sharp looking when she comes.home from being groomed. Ladies still nice when they greet us. But the quality has not been there. We have come here 3 yrs. But i will look elsewhere if her next groom is shabby

Provided by YP.comThe kennels are always clean and so is the yard. I always know if my boarders are low on food or supplements. They know I have to get the dogs exposure so I am allowed to pick them up on their closed day to take them to the adoption events and bring them back so long as I am there by the time they are leaving. My mom and dad have also boarded and had their dogs groomed here and are always pleased. They have groomed my boarders before the events as well and I am always happy with the results. I cannot say enough well about Melissa and her staff. I love them and I feel so reassured knowing my rescue babies are well cared for and loved at the times I am not able to care for them myself! Thank you ladies 5 stars.

Provided by YP.comI will not name names because I don't believe in damaging a business on just an opinion. Anyway, these girls buy my dogs treats with their own money and love on them, giving them the needed attention a rescue dog always needs as much as they can. I make myself at home here when I go see our dogs. I go back in the back, talk to the kennel staff take my own dogs out bring them back in. I am always welcome.

Provided by YP.comDepending on how long it takes for them to get adopted or a foster home opens up. Since we hate to board our dogs I try to take some of the stress away and visit OFTEN. I will go visit these dogs 3 to 4 times a week. I let them out to exercise, love on them and bring them treats. I ALWAYS feel welcome and the girls here are THE most caring, loving girls I know in this business. Let me clarify, this is not the only boarding facility we have had to use. One of the top facilities in the Dallas area we use on a regular basis also. As well as one a little further out.

Provided by YP.comMelissa Sibley, also having lots of experience in dog rescue, has been so caring in helping me when I am in a pinch and need a place for my rescue babies to lay their heads. We have had dogs in there for a week, 2 weeks, and several months.

Provided by YP.comI have lived in the Desoto Cedar Hill area since I was 5 years old and I have seen many changes. Some good, some not so good. I would like to just give an honest review of some of the business's that keep me believing that my hometown still has wonderful people in it! I help run a 501c3 Non profit dog rescue. We DO NOT like to board our dogs. However, it is necessary sometimes. When we do, we go to Camp Wagalot Kennels.

Provided by YP.comThanks for the wonderful care you gave Penny while I was away last week. It seemed like she really enjoyed herself. She slept for a good amount of time when I brought her home.

Provided by YP.comAbsolutely amazing! They take such great care of my dog and keep the facility impeccably clean! They are very kind, communicative, and you can tell they are about quality, not quantity with their business- which is refreshing in this day and age! I'd recommend to anyone who has a pet to take their pet here for their boarding needs:)

Provided by YP.comThis is the only facility that can groom my dog without putting him to sleep to do it. They do a great job and my dog is always happy when I pick him up. The staff is also nice and will point out anything "odd" they notice when grooming - like possible ear infections, or strange moles. They are wonderful!!!!! I have never boarded my dog here, so I do have a review for that.

Provided by YP.comI have been going to Camp Wagalot for some time now and I have to say that I would never take my pets any place else! The kennel is always in top shape as far as looks, and smell. You can tell that the dogs that are staying there are being treated with care and are having alot of fun!! They go to great lengths to make the dogs feel like they are at there home away from home! They have the most unbeatable rates for boarding and for grooming! Every time that I pick my dogs up after a stay I have them groomed, and they look great!! I have taken them other places to get groomed and I wasnt happy with the end results, but the staff that checks you in knows what they are doing! And the three ladys that are in the front are the nicest you will find. They will answer any questions that you have in reguards to your pet and there stay. I will always choose this kennel and no other to board my dogs when I need to go out of town and I would advise you to go check it out if you are looking for someplace to do the same!!
