Provided by YPmobileWhen I first visited, my first thought was, "Is this place still open?" But my concerns of the cosmetic type were admonished as soon as my wheels hit the floor. I've been very night since then. The staff and owner are super awesome people. I'm trying out for roller derby and the owner has even helped me by measuring out the cones on his floor so I could accurately time my laps. They play games with the kids and even have a very reasonably priced summer program. The owner has and continues to make updates to the building and rink. It doesn't leak and he's got some awesome new lights. I say, check it out. I have a blast.

Provided by YPmobilethis rink is a safety hazard. I don't know how the city let's them stay open. It smells horrible, the rental skates look like they're about 20 years old the place leaks in about 10 different area after it rains, the music that is played is not current, they have bleachers for non-skaters to sit in, the parking lot is just horrible. They charge 5.00 for entry they when Redbird (a much better rink) charges 2.00 on certain night. It's really the pits! I'm sure they would qualify for some kind of business rehab loan if they really wanted to give people in the community some kind of safe and fun entertainment for years to come.

Provided by YP.comThis place has gone way down over the years it actually use to be a nice skating rink. 3 years ago we planned my youngest daughters B-day party there and this place was falling apart then, the roof was leaking and buckets were on the skating rink floor and all down by the bathrooms, I heard that the place got updated so I went in for a look because now my oldest daughter wants a skating party and all they did was paint the outside you walk in in smells like MOLD there are still buckets collecting water but not on the actual rink. My Mother and I still asked just out of curiousity how much it is for a party and was told $175 LOL thats more than double what it was before and yet nothing was done to update this rink and bring it up to code! I asked about the buckets and was told that the roof leaks when we get alot of rain and its $10,000 to get a new roof which he can't afford, I looked at the roof from the outside and it just looks like tar paper no shingles! The City of Cedar Hill needs to step in and do something about this place it is a health hazard who wants to bring their kids to a place like that having to worry about if are our kids even safe.
