We were over charged for our meal and they weren't going to give us a receipt. I ordered 2 baked potatoes and they charged $9 instead of $7. Also we were charged $14.99 for the 2 meat plate which should have been $12.99 (we didn't get ribs). All toppings for the potatoes were on the side. Wasn't enough for half. Sauce was watered down. One roll with double brisket plate. Definitely would not recommend this place.

Found this place on Yelp and needed to buy lunch to take to a family gathering. It was 11:30am but they didn't open until 12 on Sunday so I decided to wait 30 minutes in their parking lot. While waiting I looked at their website and decided to order the Family Feast for 4 people advertised on their website. Once they opened I approached the counter and was told their website is not up-to-date and they no longer offer the family feast and I would have to buy everything a la carte by the pound and it would cost more. I explained I had found them on Yelp and decided to wait, because they had a family meal option. I suggested I would pay more for a la carte but I would be writing a review about how this was handled. The person who apparently was doing the cooking said, "well if you're going to write a bad review you can just leave now because I'm not going to serve you". So, I left. I don't care how good their barbecue is. I'm not supporting a place that treats paying customers this way. And I hope you won't either.

Christopher, Knows his BBQ his Style is Old School Fabulous!! Just the right amount of Flavor, Servings are Tight and Perfect amount of Love! That Makes for A Great BBQ! People say life is about the little things. I believe the same goes with food. Not only is the chop beef amazing but the bun is perfectly buttered and toasted so you get a little crunch to go along with the incredible flavor of the meat. The ribs are tender and spiced perfectly. Ive had a load of great bbq in my life, but the sides are always lacking. Not here though. The okra is fresh grown, not strore bought, lightly breaded and pan fried. Same goes with the fried potatoes. Fresh cut rounds pan fried and perfectly seasoned. A little expensive, but as most things in life you get what you pay for..

Simply ah-mazing! Is all I can say. There isn't much my husband and myself haven't tried from their menu. I usually order online or you can call them and place your order over the phone, which is SUPER nice since we have young kids and time isn't always there for us to 'dine in'.

*What to order? Ribs, Beef Brisket (sliced) Chicken (oh-my-goodness yum!) ANY of their sides! Our favorites being "Fried Okra" "Baked Beans"....(without question the BEST baked beans we've ever had, seriously!) "Fried Potatoes".

*Dessert: "Peach or Apple Cobbler" (mmmmm!!)



One of the BEST BBQ places we've had --- there is no question about that! Definitely worth a drive or a visit. :)

I drove from Mansfield to try the food because someone on Christopher's website gave it great reviews. Was i ever misled!!!! I tried the rib dinner. Horrible and extremely overpriced! They were too salty as if to mask the absence of flavor, no sauce,& no smoke flavor. The only thing big about the ribs were the bones. It came with a greasy, soft, fried potato & onion mixture covered in an unknown spice. Yuk! And the bbq sauce was a container of watery ketchup,no bbq sauce at all!! I wanted to take it back and throw it at him but the extra trip wasn't worth my gas. 2 dinners with drinks cost me $35. Take your cash to Springcreek instead where there's real bbq. At least you'll get full and won't feel like barfing later like I did from Christopher's!!!!

I liked the staff and the whole "family oriented" theme.



The meat was tender.



Other than that, I was upset that they were basically out of EVERYTHING. Be more prepared. I was also upset that there were flies on my food, while they were preparing it. He walked away to get some meat and there go the flies just making a nest on my food. Also, I wouldn't call their bar-b-que sauce, actual bar-b-que sauce. It was something else, but OKAY tasting. Not my personal choice.



99% sure I wont be going back, sorry guys. Nice family though.
