We are rv'rs and have eaten there three times this week because it is great! Nothing fancy, but great seafood. Very efficient, pleasant people, too.

This place was WONDERFUL! We almost did not go because of another review, but boy sure glad we did. The shrimp was perfectly cooked, not overcooked. I had 2 bowls of the gumbo and it was great. Donna, who has lived here her whole life, was our waitress and she could not have been any nicer. She gave us information about the area and tips on things to do while we are here. All of the fish and shrimp are caught by the owner and locals. Great fresh local seafood, cooked to perfection, can’t ask for more than that.

What a disappointment. The sign says all-you-can-eat seafood, but the selections are terrible. We ate there on our way into Cedar Key for the Seafood Festival and boy was that a mistake. The crab cakes were fried too death on the outside and cold on the inside, this is a sign that the cook doesn't know what they are doing. The fried shrimp was something I could buy in a bag at any Costco or Sam's Club. The mullet was bony and flavorless, the seafood salad was iffy, and the burger was over done. The waitress was fast and friendly, but very unconcerned that we were not happy with our meals and there was no talking to the manager (owner?) she thought the food was fine, we did not argue or ask for a discount, they should have offered, clearly the customer is not the concern here. The place was very clean, but so is my kitchen and I could have made this meal at home, better and cheaper.
