Calvin L. HOWTON JR. (president) graduated from Dallas baptist university with a degree in finance. Subsequently. MR. HOWTON began HIS career AT Fidelity investments. AS a retirement specialist. MR. HOWTON learned that customer service and maintaining a Budget were essential in ANY line of work. REMODEL/NEW construction projects require NOT only attention to detail. But keeping the project within the allocated Budget. Following HIS employment with Fidelity investments. MR. HOWTON spent a number of years in Senior management with home depot and lowes where HE learned material specifications and applications that are essential in the construction trade. During this time. HE and HIS father remodeled a number of homes during HIS days OFF. It was apparent. Following these projects. That construction was MR. HOWTON'S Destiny. MR. HOWTON decided it was time to pursue HIS dream and take CL HOWTON construction to the next level. MR. HOWTON devotes HIS time doing renovations. Remodels. NEW construction. And designing projects THOUGHOUT the Austin area. Since then. HE has managed hundreds of projects from total restorations to KITCHEN/BATH remodels. Other than HIS Family. CL HOWTON construction is where MR. HOWTON chooses to BE. Calvin HOWTON SR. (VICE-PRESIDENT and general manager) graduated Also from Dallas baptist university with a degree in management. MR. HOWTON spent the first Four years of HIS adult life in the US marine corps. Following HIS tour. MR. HOWTON dove into HIS Chosen profession AS a project manager in training with Brown & root. Subsequently. MR. HOWTON spent 10 years AS a project manager for kajima corp. AT kajima. MR. HOWTON managed the construction of a multi billion Dollar plastics plant. Many process plants. Computer chip manufacturing facilities and automobile manufacturing plants. Subsequent to HIS commercial construction days. MR. HOWTON managed a LAW firm OUT of Austin. TX. For approximately 10 years. During this time. MR. HOWTON assisted in thousands of cases involving; construction defect. DTPA. Breach of warranty. Product defect and insurance BAD faith. To name a FEW. Following HIS retirement. MR. HOWTON spends most of HIS time AT CL HOWTON construction with HIS SON calvin JR. CL HOWTON construction was founded by calvin HOWTON JR. And HIS father calvin HOWTON SR. In 1997. Specializing in sports courts. Foundations and civil construction during the 1990'S. The Company soon began comprehensive home reconstructions. Additions. And remodels by the early 2000'S. Over the past thirteen years CL HOWTON construction has successfully completed hundreds of remodeling projects including. But NOT limited to; total ground UP restorations. Additions. Roofing. Bathrooms. Kitchens. Siding. Fencing. To name a FEW.
