Provided by YP.comMy gas water heater was not heating the water. I bought from Sears at least 10 years ago and purchased the service warranty and have kept it current over the years. The tech was out in 2 days. He found a small crack in a wiring connection, so small I could barely see it with my glasses. He replaced the whole wiring unit and water heater works fine now. He checked the whole unit. Very happy he could repair the problem. Very polite and cordial.

Provided by YP.comMade an appointment for May 16th, 2016. I was charged almost two hundred dollars. After the repair the machine was still not functioning and suffered from the same problem I asked them to fix. Their answer, another appointment on the 19th. A different repair tech. He ordered a part. He came back on the 31st and installed the part. The machine was still not fixed. This time the bill was $279 dollars.
Another repairman is coming today, June 2nd. I believe I will have to have a serious talk with him about making this right...
And make it right he did. We decided the machine was not going to be affordably fixed. The Service Tech spoke with his boss and they decided to refund my money.
Although they were not able to fix my machine, they did the right thing and exercised good business judgement. I will not hesitate to call them again.

Man came out, diagnosed a broken ice maker. He ordered part, I paid in full for part. He scheduled the installation at this time. The part arrived in three days. Two weeks later, another service man showed up an installed the part.
There was too much time between the diagnosis and installation. If Sears has all the information it needs to order a part, the first person out should bring it with them. We bought the refrigerator at Sears, so they should have all the information they need on the unit. Two weeks between the delivery of the part and the installation service is too long.
Finally, the tech continually tried to sell service contracts after we said we were not interested. Once I reject the offer, that should be the end of it.

Provided by YP.comA horrible and filthy place with dishonest and incompetent management. Filled with bugs and its not uncommon to find roaches scurrying about on the sales floor, or in the restrooms. A ridiculous bunch of sales people who are more concerned about standing around and drinking their beverages and talking with severe vulgarity and ignoring what the company likes to call it's "Members" Will never set foot in a Sears or spend my money with that company. I hope it goes under because it needs to.
