WebsiteThe Area Substance Abuse Council (ASAC) is a private nonprofit corporation governed by the volunteer Board of Directors. Formed in 1962, ASAC is one of the oldest, largest, and most comprehensive substance abuse prevention and treatment agencies in the state of Iowa. Although we serve clients from throughout Iowa, we primarily serve the five counties of Linn, Benton, Jones, Jackson, and Clinton.
