Did an excellent job installing my refrigerator, service was prompt and professional. Would recommend.

On December 8th 2014 I had a dishwasher delivered and they would not install it because their company policy was that they needed an 34 1/2 opening and my counter was only 34" in height. Told me that it would definitely fit and they could just put it in my garage and I could call my plumber to install it. Both the new and old dishwashers were exactly the same size. I asked the person who was delivering the dishwasher and he told me most of the time he puts them in the garage or by the garage and the plumber can install it. I believe the company likes the delivery fees but it is more work to install it so they shuffle that off to the plumber at the home owners expense. Home Depot was not pleased with the company not installing it when I went back to get my money.

On July 17, 2012 I had a microwave and dishwasher delivered to my rental property. The purchase was from Home Depot but Linn Star did the delivery. My tenant called and said the delivery men told her they could not install the dishwasher because three pieces of wood that framed the cabinet was in the way and they cannot touch anything. Understandable, except my tenant removed the three pieces of wood with her bare hands in minutes. So instead of waiting they decided to list the delivery as a Refusal and not install the dishwasher. I was concerned about the plumbing for the dishwasher so I asked my tenant what they said about the dishwasher and she said it was fine and all I had to do was call them and they would redeliver the dishwasher the next day after the wood was removed. After I spoke to my tenant, four hours after the install occurred, Linn Star called me and said the delivery was a refusal and I had to call Home Depot and order the dishwasher again soon just in case they run out of the dishwasher I ordered. He also said they did not tell my tenant they could redeliever the next day, and he did not mention the plumbing. They were so rude on the phone I hung up on them. I called Home Depot and they called Linn Star. They reportedly apologized citing they had a new crew, and they could not reverse the refusal an I had to wait for a new delivery date. The Home Depot employee asked if they could come pick it up and they said no. Home Depot said there was a not about no plumbing for the dishwasher, yet the Linn Star paperwork left on site said refusal only for wood and no mention of plumbing issues. This is a perfect example of just not being customer oriented or friendly. They spent more time being difficult then being helpful. They never even called me during the delivery process until hours after they left!
