We are newer to this area having done a long distance move, so did not whom to call for some carpet work. We saw Russ' ad in the Penny Saver. Annette returned my call the very same day and came to offer a quote. They were able to book our project within less than a month. Russ installed new carpet in our spare bedroom from remnant pieces that he had to seam together. It does not show whatsoever and we could not be happier. We also had him stretch the carpeting in our large family room, to remove treacherous unsightly wrinkles, and again, it worked like a charm, saving us big bucks to replace the carpet. Last but not least, Russ cut an area out and edged it so that we could install laminate to step onto when you walk into our finished sunroom, off of our deck. Looks great and will be so much easier to keep clean. We were more than pleased. Russ and Annette were honest, friendly, and reasonably priced. We will definitely be recommending them. We had new carpet installed in our four seasons room and had our great room carpet re-stretched. Russ and Mike did a great job and worked tirelessly to get the job done. They were friendly yet professional and cleaned up after they were done! Annette was a joy to work with as well. We'll be calling them again for all our future flooring needs! Can't go wrong with this crew!

Annette, Russ, and their son, Mike, were so wonderful to work with when we had them install new carpet in our home this spring. Annette was so helpful when she came to measure. She had insightful suggestions for where to put carpet as well as other flooring materials. Both Russ and Annette had the consumer's budget and needs in mind when making suggestions on what to purchase and where. Annette walked me through each step of the way as I had never ordered and purchased home improvement materials before. Russ and Mike were superb in their installation. The carpet looked beautiful and was installed skillfully without any mistakes or unfinished edges. I would highly recommend RAM Flooring to install carpet for your home or business. They truly cared about your needs and gave you fair prices and excellent service! I also was incredibly impressed with how quickly they were able to get the job done! I had an estimate, we ordered carpet, and they were able to install it within a week of ordering!!

The owners, Russ and Annette, came to my house to measure and give an estimate on a carpeting job I wanted done. After speaking with them and watching their careful estimation and measuring process, I accepted their bid. I was not disappointed; I found their work to be first-rate, of great quality, and accurate from the first. There has been no need for them to come back out, at no time did I hear: “Well, we forgot to add in the… to our estimate” In fact, I was very impressed with their upstanding professionalism beginning with the estimation process and ending with the installation – their work was exceptionally well done. I am very pleased to recommend RAM Flooring it is a respectable and honest business to with which to work.

My mother lives with us after 81 years on her own. She needs a little extra care now. She has lived with us for about a year and a half. It that time she has had a few accidents, spills in several places in her room and by her chair in the livingroom. RAM came and gave us an estimate in the afternoon. He fixed three cigerette burns by her chair right then.

Russ measured the bedroom, hall, and bathroom to replace that carpet. Told us how much carpet we would need; it was less than we what we determined saving us money. He also suggested that we use a thinner 3/8" pad 3/8" thick pad (instead of the normal 1/2" thick pad) since Mother "shuffles" when she walks as well as a walker. Russ further suggested that we use a berber in her bedroom, hall, and bathroom so that she could manuver more easily and would be less likely to fall. She gets around so much better with a firmer foundation and the walker feet do not catch on the carpet. What a difference.

Having an older person living with us we know how important it is to give her as much of her dignity and independence as possible. He was so compassionate for my mother's safety. His concern for her was refreshing.

Russ had a great crew with him to move the furniture. Everything was put back according to the direction of my mother. They showed great patience with Mother as she directed their every move. She is very pleased with the new look and "them fine young men".

I didn't find their ad in the yellowpages.com; I found it on Craigslist.com. They asked me to go onto this website and rate them if I didn't mind. I must say that a job referal is the best form of advertisement so I agreed.

Wow! Can't believe that my puppy ATE a 6" hole in the middle of my Theater Room carpet. I just had the carpet put in about 5 years ago. Russ told my that he could repair the hole if I had some leftover pieces or some unnoticable place like a closet to cut a patch. Luckily I had pieces left.

The job he did was great! The patch is undectable except for the color difference in the carpet patch. I can live with that. The difference in the color is because the carpet on the floor has 5 years of wear and tear and the scrap was still brand new. I was told that I had to replace 67 yards of carpet. The repair saved me time off of work, a few thousand dollars. His rates were reasonable, too. He was done with the great work within an hour.

We'd called several Carpet installers and all were too busy to bother coming to Vinton, IA, where we live....



Another Dealer told me to call Annette at Ram Flooring, as they might be able to help us out, but they might be really busy too.



We needed someone ASAP as the old carpet and padding needed removed and later replaced after all the flood damage... Annette and Russ both came the following morning and were at our house by 8 AM.. :-) The old carpet, and padding were quickly removed, and they were done well before noon...



We had carpet thru-out the house and we couldn't believe how efficient and fast they were... They were very knowledgable, willing to help as much as we needed, and extermely compassionate over our loss'.....



When it was time to install the new carpet, there was no doubt as to who we called... Ram Flooring!!! They showed us lots of different carpet samples, and suggested some, and WHY they did or did not recommend certain carpets... We couldn't believe as to how well EVERYTHING went.. We were soon to be able to move back into our house... THANKS to Russ an Annette...

RG, Another Victim of the Vinton Flood

I am an older woman--79 years old and a widow. My granddaughter is helping me with this input. Russ, Annette, and their crew did a fine job. They were very respectful to me and my home. I was pleased with this because being older I am always being afraid of being caught in a scam. They did exactly what I asked. They cleaned up, moved my furniture back, and they were very concientious about my antique furniture. I would reccomend them to anyone that is older and looking for some good old fashioned hard work!
