Dawn Albrecht, our coach driver, was so personable and wonderful working with our students and parents who followed. I will definitely be using you guys next year!!! The coach itself was very clean and well maintain. The students loved watching a movie and the air conditioning was perfect. They also have AC outlets to plug in any device, which was a nice surprise for everyone (especially the teachers who needed to charge their phones). Excellent Service!!!

I just got back from being an escort on my sons school trip to New York City. The tour company used Compass Coach out of Grand Rapids area although our coach was from their Traverse City location. We rode a very clean well maintained bus. It had 110v and wifi. They got us to NYC safe and sound and Trent our main driver and I guess the owner of this company drive is around the city. He was great and hate to say...knew more then our tour company escort. I felt very safe with him. Talking to him he said he and his wife started with one coach 15 years ago and they have 23 today and three garages If he hires other people like himself his company will be around for awhile. I would recommend this company to any group or person. They are first class!! Thanks for a safe trip!!!

As a teacher and a group leader of large groups to Florida and New York City, I can highly recommend Compass Coach. My drivers have been courteous and personable, and the vehicles I have traveled in have been top of the line. Additionally, their rates are always very competitive. I will be traveling with them again this Spring on a trip with over 100 travelers, and am looking forward to working with them.

Compass Coach is the preferred motorcoach company for many of our student groups. They are very reliable with excellent and friendly drivers. Compass cares about doing the right thing every time. If a problem arises, they work to make it right for the group. We plan on being one of their best customers for many years to come.

I would like to respond to the gentleman who gave us a bad report. It was true, we did sub his charter to another company because we sold one of our older pieces of equipment and the new one had not arrived yet to cover his trip. So his complaint was on the other companies equipment, Not Compass Coach. He did and I verified this with him, tried to play a pirated DVD that he made off his computer on the coaches R.E.I. DVD player. The DVD player will not play "homemade movies". I tried to explain this to him but he was so disturbed he would not listen. We also did not return his call to him right away because he left it on our dispatchers extension (without his name or number). Our dispatcher had a TRUE family emergency and he had to take the week off, thus we did not get this person call right away. He did not care. We are sorry that his homemade DVD did not play, but this is no excuse for such a poor performace rating. Please take that into consideration when evaluating Compass Coach Inc.

I would suggest this company to anyone looking for a great motorcoach company to get them where they need to go. I have been on one day trips and week long trips with groups that have used Compass Coach. Their busses are very clean and comfortable. Their drivers are very good and safe. If I was going to booke a trip with a motorcoach company, this would be the one!!!

I have traveled with Compass Coach several times and had wonderful experiences on each trip. These trips have included trips related to business, pleasure and education with my son's school. Upon doing some background on the company, I found they have some of the highest ratings for safety. I drove professionally under DOT guidelines and logs. I was so impressed with the drivers and their ability to balance driving and doubling as courteous hosts. The interior of the buses were spectacular! On the last trip I took (To Mackinaw Island and Back) I was able to sleep several hours in a very comfortable seat.

We just returned from a trip to the Smoky Mountains with Randy Miller as our driver. What a nice trip we had. Randy is very friendly and very professional at the same time. He did a great job. Hope we get to travel with him again

I can not recommend this service. We chartered months in advance with 3 ABSOLUTE needs -- a restroom, a PA and a Video system. Despite reserving far in advance, we were passed off to an inferior local service with no PA or operating video system. When I called to complain (after the trip because no one was available the day of our exursion) I was told that they had "overbooked" so had to sub-contract our excursion. When I pressed the matter because we specified that we had 3 MUST needs, I was told that one of their employees had issues and that his issues was far more important than my need for a video system. I was offered NO acknowledgment of responsiblity and certainly no refund or adjustment. The needle on this Compass is bent the wrong way!!
