Upon visiting the Jewel Box, you will find a great selection of gorgeous jewelery, along with pushy and unfriendly staff. I helped my father pick out a necklace for my mother. A few months later, my mother has discovered she was having difficulty ensuring the clasp stays closed. Since they live a few hours away, they first called the establishment, and the woman there told my mom that she was just obviously doing it wrong, but that they "Could look at it, just in case... whatever..." Again, my mom lives a few hours away, so she gave me the necklace to bring it in. This is where the Jewel Box goes above and beyond to insult and infuriate us. I entered the Jewel Box with two of my girlfriends, and I honestly am grateful that I had friends with me. Upon my arrival, the owner herself proceeded to inform me that, my mother "Called too much", "Didn't know what she was doing", and that the product "Is one of our most popular items, and we can barely keep it in stock." She showed us twice how to clasp the necklace, and then proceeded to claim that my mother "Must be a larger woman, since it works fine on you..." The actual clasp was remotely secure, but I could tell that it could still fall off fairly easily. Even after the whole process, she never once offered any kind of solution. In the end, I found a necklace that might match, but I will simply order it online. Between the abuse leveled at myself and my mother, and the still slightly faulty product provided, I will never recommend this establishment and advise you to steer clear.
