Beyers Window and Door is a great family-owned company!

This place was on the Tom Martino good business list 9-10 years ago when we replaced our windows. However, I didn't think their service was all that great and had some problems with a couple of things they broke during installation and muddy footprints on the carpet. They solved those things to my content after installation. However, 8-9 years later our big kitchen window was foggy with moisture between the panes. The warranty was for 10 years. I called, called, called and left my name and number many times. When I finally complained to them that no one was returning my calls, a nasty woman got mad at me and said that they were so, so busy; so I apologized for complaining that no one was returning calls. Finally, someone called me, and I told them exactly what kind of window it was, brand and all, and they set up an appointment to come out. So I had to be at home and receive them at the appointment. After that I never heard from them until I called several times. Finally, they told me that the company that made the windows went out of business several years before and that my warranty was void. But I had told them the company name before they came out to look at the window and measure for a new one! Then I had to call and call still again because the guy told me that they would give me a discount on installing a new window, but he would not then return my calls. Finally, I spoke with him and he told me that he would call me back with an estimate. He called in just a few days and told me that he would be calling back probably that afternoon with an estimate. Well, it has been about 1/2 to 1 year now since the call telling me that he would call me right back. I have not changed phone numbers, so I am still waiting for that call. Every time I see a Beyer's truck on the road, I feel like ramming it -- this is a really lousy company, one of the worst I have dealt with, and I really suggest that no one give them business.

When I ordered my windows back in August 2009 I thought Beyers were a great company terrific service and help and then I placed. When I received my order the windows were not what the salesman had told me they would be and were a 1/2 inch deeper that meant I had to cut out a 1/2 inch of drywall on every window opening 10 windows times 16 feet - thats a lot of drywall. My experience since then has continued to be terrible, I would not recommend them to anyone. I have been waiting over 4 moths for a window and screen to be replaced under warranty which was “no problem” I was told at the time - November 2 2009. Well its been a big problem, firstly they didn't place the warranty order the first time in Novemeber 09 and in January 2010 they said it will be two or three weeks - its now at six weeks. Still no response. I had called on Monday and was switched through to a cell – no return call, today is Friday. I just called again today (2/12/2010) and got a “I only answer the phones and can
