Today I had the tremendous pleasure to sit for a Bryce Jackman production featuring several snakes, an enormous tortoise, two tarantulas, a scorpion and even a hissing cockroach. And what a wonderful experience I had!

Mr. Jackman was a special guest at the Franklin Friends School Age Child Care program, and its young participants were immediately abuzz upon sitting for his presentation, many having seen him give similar demonstrations in years past at the school. Their enthusiasm for his animals and his lively and engaging presentation persisted throughout his visit. They asked relevant questions and many gathered around him after his show to talk with him some more.

Mr. Jackman was funny; he was relatable; and above all, he was informed, and he shared his knowledge with the children enthusiastically. He even answered many of my questions, and I was incredibly glad to learn of his commitment to rescue animals.

I was so very impressed with his performance, and I would readily recommend him to others seeking an intelligent and exuberant person to talk with children about animals too many of us find loathsome. I hope to invite him to my other school for a similar presentation. I'm sure the community there will be equally enthralled by his production.
