Avoid this company. I worked for this company and the first thing I noticed on my first day of work it that their trucks and trailers have not been maintained for years. In some cases they were literally falling apart. One time I simply closed the door and the side view mirror broke and fell out.
I have been driving over the road long before this company and I have never seen such disgraceful trucks and trailers being used in all my time before. I would always do pre and post trip daily inspections and report what I find to the company. When the Department of Transportation began getting on this company they were told these trucks were not safe to be on the road. The company finally decided to fix the problems.
One day I can into work and was handed a letter that came from Jim Johnson. He stated in the letter that the cost of fixing their equipment was too much for them and they cannot afford to fix their equipment. This was their reason for not paying their employees wages due. It was because of this very bad business decision that many people just walked out that day.
Maintaining business equipment is part of the cost of being in business. If they cannot afford to be in business then the business needs to close. The owners, like Jim Johnson, should go and flip burgers at McDonald’s.
The employees could not be happy working at this company with terrible business decisions like this.

As i live alone it was very difficult for me to start with the moving as there was a great distance in between my old and new apartment. While browsing for help, I came across Johnson Storage and Moving Company. Thanks to them i was able to get the moving done in no time, I met some diligent and alert crew. She received a settlement over $19,000. Did she bother to mention this? No. Not good business to plaster the internet with garbage and leave people believing they "screwed" her. Not true, huge settlement made.

Just do not use them period! The worst moving experience in my life and I have moved lots!Empty promises, untrained packers, lies, non responsive.....I could go on and on.You will not get return phone calls.Your driver will lie to you - tell you what he thinks you want to hear and then walk off the job with your paperwork and belongings.Your belongings will be transferred to a different truck and you will not have any idea if everything makes it to a new truck.You will be told that your delivery is on one date and take time off of work to find out it will not be arriving for another week to 10 days.Your household goods that you worked hard for or have been in your family for years will be treated like trash! It will be a huge slap in the face!You will be heartbroken, angry, frustrated, you will cry and scream at the way your belongings will arrive, if or when, at the other end.And they will NOT care one bit!Just do not hire them!Top 10 Signs of a Crappy Move from Hell (yes, they are all true!):10) You find a hole punctured through the door of the microwave.9) Your custom-made birdhouse, handmade by her recently passed father, is half destroyed because it is not in a box despite her providing a specific box to pack it in. Johnson Storage & Moving defines professionalism. They helped me with a very small move and treated me like I was their largest customer. Extremely professional and courteous. The crew they sent was on time, careful and very nice to work with. They put all of my furniture where I wanted it and most importantly nothing was broken. Ask for Sali Frado when you call.
