Seems Jim Naples of Eastbay Builders also known as Jim Naples & Son same person/company have the same reputation; doing poor quality work, always wanting more money above and beyond budget and never, ever finishing the job as the initial signed contract stated. Previous customers and other contractors all say the same thing, the workmanship is horrible, he's rude and arrogant along with not caring about the customer, just how much more money he can get out of the customer.
Though he advertises as being "Best-of-the-Best, he is far from that. Stay away from this company/person.

WHAT A MISTAKE! We hired Jim from East Bay Builders (who turns out changed their name from Jim Naples & Son Inc. After recieving so many complaints!) to do our bathroom and we couldn't have made it worse decision picking a contractor. Jim the owner comes in and gives us what we thought was a great quote on a bathroom for $16,000 and he began the work. at first all seemed well. Jim then sold my wife on a new $86,000 kitchen and some stonework on the exterior of our home before any of the bathroom materials had even been delivered. Once contracts were signed for everything Jim began strategically stepping up my wife & I on all the work and nothing was ever getting done. There is always some kind of delay or some kind of mishap with the manufacturer & Jim always wanted more money. All said and done the bathroom ended up costing us over $33,000 and took 4 months to complete. The kitchen and the stonework he cost us another $160,000. We were without a kitchen for 8 MONTHS!! It gets worse, after spending all this money you would think the work would've lasted but no. Since months after the job was "completed" we had warped cabinets in our bathroom, stonework that was crumbling and the contractor that refused to stand by his work. I don't know where we went wrong, I mean the guy looked professional and looked like he had experience. Please for the love of God, don't hire this company.
