Do not use this contractor. After owing money and being sued, Jim Naples changed the company name from Jim Naples & Son to Eastbay Builders. Though he was paid, there was a delay in the work, days would pass before anyone came back. He occasionally stopped to see how the work was going but never for more than 5 minutes and never asked how you felt about the job. It got to a point to where he made himself unapproachable. What should have been a 2 month project turned into a 4 month and an uncompleted project. He talks up a good story and always wants more money. Though he's got a savvy looking website, don't hire this guy unless you have money to burn and time is of no importance

Unfortunately you can't put less than one star.
I can only speak to the professionalism aspect.
The 5 star rating or first class as it's described seems to fit.
Jim is a first class arrogant moron ,who thinks he owns the world.
I watched as he blocked the road ,making it impossible for a school bus to make a turn, then proceeded to yell at the bus driver because he had to move his illegally parked vehicle.
Yup first class all the way.
I'd think twice before hiring him to do any work.

WHAT A MISTAKE! We hired Jim to do our bathroom and we couldn't have made it worse decision picking a contractor. Jim the owner comes in and gives us what we thought was a great quote on a bathroom for $16,000 and he began the work. at first all seemed well. Gym then sold my wife on a new $86,000 kitchen and some stonework on the exterior of our home before the bathroom sheet rock was even u gym then sold my wife & I on a new $86,000 kitchen and some stonework on the exterior of our home before any of the bathroom materials had even been delivered. Once contracts were signed for everything Jim began strategically stepping up me and my wife on all the work and it appeared that nothing was ever getting done. There is always some kind of delay or some kind of mishap with the manufacturer and Jim always wanted more money. All said and done the bathroom ended up costing us over $33,000 and took 4 months to complete. The kitchen and the stonework he cost us another $160,000. It gets worse, after spending all this money you would think the work would've lasted but no, six Munson we had worked cabinets in our bathroom, stonework that was crumbling and the contractor that refused to stand by his work. Please for the love of God don't hire this company.

We are VERY dissapointed in this Company and find them HIGHLY ignorant and arrogant. They did NOT do a good job on our home. I hear from around the area from many people that they owe MANY buisnesses/people $$$ and they DONT pay and they changed their name to EastBay Builders.. Customers BEWARE.. DONT use these people.. Like father like son. They dont have a very good reputation. Don't get involved with these shisters.. They are both BAD NEWS..
