Dan, simply put, is one of the best educators in his field. His love of music, extensive piano knowledge, and unique approach to teaching, all contribute to making him an extremely effective and inspiring piano teacher. Studying with Dan has certainly made me into a better pianist, but it has also helped me view music and teaching in a completely new light. As a guitar teacher (guitar being my primary instrument), I've been able to further my own craft using many of his teaching and practicing methods. It's always inspiring to see how positively Dan's students respond to the way he teaches and how well they do in the many recitals and competitions they have the opportunity to perform in. Dan makes piano fun and personal, while keeping students on their toes and making sure they're always moving forward at a good pace. Highly recommended.
