Terrible experience with the owner no less.waited over 20 minutes in the lobby for her. She kept up charging me on services but never let my hair process long enough. I walked out spending over $200 and my hair color looked like a calico cat and she never touched my roots! I walked into another salon down the road 2 days later, paid a fraction, and was finally given the results I asked for. Never again will I go or refer anyone here.

CASEY BRUGGEMAN has been doing my hair for awhile now and I just Love her and the way she does my Hair!!! She is so nice and definitely knows what she is doing. Casey always goes back through my cut and also will style my hair any way I want. She will continue to be my hairstylist!!!

The rest of the girls are really nice too and the place is fun to go into. I highly recommend Bangs & Casey!

If you are looking for the best deep tissue massage in town, look no further! You are in for the best therapeutic massage you have ever gotten! She is definitely a best bet!!!

Mashawn of Bangs and her apprentice styled the hair of myself, my brides maids and my mother on my wedding day. Also airbrushed makeup. Simply, Mashawn rocks and is extremely awesome at her job and we looked gorgeous. So many compliments on our hair and makeup. I felt like a princess =) I highly recommend Mashawn / Bangs (they're all very great!) for your wedding hair/makeup, etc., and all other hair needs!

This salon is top notch. I was very pleased. The first time I visited I had an awesome experience. I arrived early for my appointment so naturally I had to wait for my stylist. The massage therapist actually came out and greeted me and asked me if I wanted a free chair massage while I waited. Of course I couldn't turn that down! She was so good that I booked an appointment for after my hair. My stylist ended up doing an amazing job and I absolutely love my hair. You can tell all the girls there are very experienced and talented. Everyone was so friendly. And then my one hour massage was INCREDIBLE. Seriously, the best massage ever. She really got all the kinks out and I felt like jello afterwards. I am so happy I found this salon and I will definitely be back!!

I was referred by a co-worker and could nto believe the experience I had! BEAUTIFUL salon! I absolutely loved the botique (really loved the pricing!) ....no one better buy the turquoise purse until I come back! My hair looks better than any Mark Philips or Michaels Salon ever did. I am a fan for life!!!! HIGHLY recommend (and I am a former hairdresser!)

It is not the stylist responsibility to redeem your oneys gift cards. Oneys closed and screwed THEM out of a weeks pay and you expect them to just give you free services???? They lost thier jobs and got screwed out of hard earned money but yet you seem like they should just give you $100 worth of services???!! wow... Have some compasion! i love my stylist and would never expect her to redeem my old oneys gift card.

I was referred to Bangs by one of my co-workers and boy I am glad I went! The salon is decorated AMAZINGLY and the atmosphere takes you away from Dayton! I felt like I stepped into a salon in New York or L.A. I was greated by an extremely friendly receptionist who chatted with me until my stylist came to get me (She had assured me that I'd love my hair dresser and I did!). My stylist did an amazing job on my hair and even gave me the best eyebrow wax I've ever had! All the employees are dressed in a modern/funky style and they all looked fabulous (they even color cordinated their attire to match the salon: black,pink and white) Everyone was so acceptionally friendly and had a real love for their place of employment. I'm so glad I made the choice to become a regular client of the BEST salon in Dayton. (937)436-BANG.

I have had my hair styled/cut/colored at Bangs since it opened. I love the contemporary decor! The receptionist and stylists are always friendly and have made me feel welcomed. And, best of all, I love the way my hair looks afterwards! I will most certainly continue to patronize Bangs Salon!

I have been to Bangs for services several times since they opened. I am very pleased with the service I have received, the atmosphere and the staff. I will definitely be back!!!

I am very picky about how my hair is cut. I have been to a couple places in oakwood that I love, but wanted to try something new. I had been to O'Neys for massages and pedicures, but I had never been there to get my hair done. When I heard that most of the staff at Bangs was the former O'Neys staff, I thought I would give it a try, seeing that I had loved O'Neys. I felt very welcome right away, and chatted with the girl at the counter until my stylist was ready to give me my cut. I loved the atmosphere. It was fun, inviting, and contemporary. I disagree with the person who was complaining about the atmosphere. I thought it was everything a hair saloon should be. Clean, organized, and social :)

I also disagree with the customer who said they felt unwelcome. They had attempted to make conversation with me, and me being a very social person anyways, it was easy to make conversation back. Sometime the effort needs to come from both people, not just the employee.

I loved Bangs. It was a fun atmosphere with girls who have had a lot of experience. She gave me the perfect cut, and I am very satisfied. I enjoyed the staff being in the age range they are. Sometimes when an older person cuts my hair, they don't understand new styles and what I try to explain. These girls had a great sense of fashion and what is the "in look". I will definitely go back!

My normal stylist could not get me in until the end of the following month and my hair needed help now. I was able to get an appointment at Bangs Salon & Spa. I walked into a cluster of women sitting behind the counter, gave them my name and they informed the stylist I had arrived. From that moment on, no one paid attention to me. I did not know if I should stand and wait or sit and look through magazines. After five minutes, I decided I should sit. Once the stylist showed up I followed her into the next room. This room, is huge. Decorated in black, white, with bright pink accents. Craftsman black tool cabinets are used as stands for the stylists supplies. Cute and quirky. Really basic, but it is a new salon. Everything shares this big room. Only a small wall blocks the view of those getting a pedicure. The stylist walked me toward her station where hair from previous clients had been abandoned by them and her. I notice other chairs without clients but their hair is still scattered about.



My stylist trimmed my hair and chatted a bit with me. The others in the salon talked to each other not so much to their clients. As I left, no one not even the owner acknowledged me although she sat in the waiting area with out five other staff members.



It seemed to me they were more concerned with their day to day personal issues. More about gossip than clients.

I might go again. The cut was good just did not feel welcome.

Through tons of research, I finally discovered that Bangs Salon & Spa were honoring Oney's gift cards (from the outstanding ones) where they had closes unexpectedly. I have about $100 in gift certificates that were given to me for occasions - I called them to see if they did redeem them - they only give like $5 off the service and use the gift card (regardless of the amount) as a coupon!#@! I have $100 that was purchased by a relative and they are going to give me $5 for them! What is up with that?! Not happy at all. That's a waste of $$ down the drain.
