Provided by YP.comMy Fiance & I are very Happy with the 99 Durango we got from Gold Key Motors! It had a few problems just like any used Vehicle but Randy Brown made it right. Will Definitely be buying from Gold Key Motors again. I'd recommend them to anyone with a need for a decent used car.

I called Gold Key Motors in Centralia on Friday morning 2/22 about a 1997 ford Expedition xlt 4wd 198k mi. They said mint inside/out wonât be disappointed but someone test drove it and supposed to be back. I live 75 miles away. Gave her my number and ask if she could call me if they sold it. She said ââwhy donât you put $600 to hold it and it will go towards deposit that way you wonât waste tripâ. I specifically asked âif I donât like it can I get my $600 backâ. She said you saw the truck on our website and Iâm telling you its mint, you wonât be disappointedâ.I went to bank, deposit cash then called her back to put $600 HOLD 1997 ford Expedition xlt 4wd 198kDrove 75 miles in pouring down rain, got to dealership.. Expedition was junk! Nothing like picture or what she said.Said I didnât want it, nothing like website or what was told to me and to put $600 back on Credit card..They said âthey came back to buy it, we held it for you and we do not do refundsâ BUT âwe will put it on another vehicle deposit and thatâs only way you can have itâ!In tears I walked in pouring rain looking at all the junk cars. NOTHING I wanted or was looking for. There was cheap Explorer that was OK. On the windshield it had $600 down. I figured they have that for Expedition.I did test drive. They donât do carfax.. they are to expensive.. they didnât know where I could take it to get checked out either..They demanded another $2500 cash ON TOP of the $600. I said the down was only $600. They said âbecause I live so far, they need more. I told them I only have $500..not enough.. ended up giving $1700 cash more and said $250/mo $125/week. They pocket cash and started paperwork. After 20 minutes they started contract info.He mumbled thru the numbers of deposit, subtotal whats owed⦠sign. I signed bottom and he took it back, wrote in 45% then handed it back and wanted me to sign Implied Warranty part. I said I wouldnât sign it.. He pointed out on contract $2300 NON REFUNDABLE and that is what I signed at the bottom. He said âthatâs fine, you donât have to, we wonât sell you the Explorer and you signed contract with $2300 NON REFUNDABLEâ.26.4 MILES from dealership. On I5 heading home 75 miles drive.. I put on gas..was not moving. Coasted over 3 lanes traffic going 70MPH . Called dealership. They sent out 2 shop guys with truck/dolly towed it to exit, started it, put it in drive, they called dealership, got off phone. Told me Explorer needed new transmission they tied it down and towed it back to dealership. I called dealership and Lewey said âhe will call around for used transmission and will call me when he gets everything figured out. THEY HAVE EXPLORER AND $2300.

Provided by YP.comI called to see if 97 EXPEDITION was still there. They said ‘mint cond inside/out, won’t be disappointed’. I was 75 miles away and they wanted $600 to hold until I got there. When I saw it, the Expedition was nothing like pictures on website or what they said. I asked for $600 to be put back on card. They said ‘non refundable and I would loose the $600 making me feel obligated to buy. While I was trying to find something else, they ran my debit card. AFTER I DID NOT WANT EXPEDITION (BAIT) I ended up getting an Explorer that had no options or style I wanted. They demanded another $1700 cash and I signed contract (SWITCH)
30 mi from dealership heading home on I5, I was putting on gas but Explorer was not moving. Lewey ask if I had AAA then sent 2 shop guys with p/u and dolly. They tow to next exit called Lewey then told me transmission out needs replaced. He will call me.
I gave them chance to do what was right, refund my full $2300 as the $600 was only authorized for hold of Expedition and they cannot demand cash payment to hold then threat not to return without contract. Lewey was on 3 way with me and bank. He said $600 was hold EXPLOYER, I paid $1700 cash and signed contract and I’m crazy. They must have forgotten, I have printed ad from their website of EXPEDITION dated 2/22 with written notes of what was said, what I needed and directions. I ALSO HAVE PRINT OUTS OF OTHER VEHICLES DATED 2/22 SHOWIN TYPE SIZE AND OPTIONS I WANTED AND THE EXPLORER HAD NOTHING I WANTED
So I’m out $2300 and no vehicle It may take time but I will get my full amount back.
DON’T TRUST ANYTHING THEY SAY. GET CAR FAX AND CHECK TITLE.

This is the worst place to go. I bought a car recently and within a month I had to replace the transmission because they didn't put transmission fluid in it. They lied about it being a clean title and all of the other problems. I went to confront them with my mechanic and they lied straight to my face. I know this because they called my mechanic back later and told him what they did to it and then he told me. Every time I drive by I try to yell at everyone looking at cars to not buy there. Overall the most crooked people in the business.

I was very dissappointed with the service at Gold Key. I was looking for a car that got good MPG, and when I said I would be buying in a few days, the owner said to come back then because if I didn't buy today I was wasting his time. Really?

They treated me like family.. I couldn't believe how easy it was to buy a used car. I've been to alot of used dealers in town and they treated my the best. The manager at the lot was so nice and helpfull. I would buy another car thier agin and im going to tell all my friends about them.
