We have eaten at this same restaurant, apparently recently renamed, off and on over the past 6 years. Yes, it was closed for a handful of months last year. But the past couple times we went there, the food was great. NOTE: Native to Washington, I've got 10+ trips to the Kingdom of Thailand; we cook Thai food extensively, and have probably visited all the major Thai restaurants from Seattle south into Olympia. We are well familiar.

One of my favorite dishes is Pad Se-Eu. I love that dish, and yes there is variant with the type of noodles used (fresh vs. dried), and some variant in how the sauce is done. I ordered this dish just 2 hours ago (we just returned from our trip) and this is only the second time in my life that I could not eat a meal. My suspicion is that the person cooking, accidently grabbed fish sauce instead of the sweet soy; but the smell, first, is what threw me. It was not a "fish sauce" smell. My particular favorite brand is "3 Crabs" from Vietnam. I've cooked with "cheap" fish sauce, and more "expensive" fish sauce. This was more like, I donno... tunafish oil? It was horrible. The food emitted this faint yet ever-present "tuna-oil" smell, that is *not* part of Pad Se-Eu. I don't know if some of the food was bad, or what.. but it was horrible.

I was very low key, and felt sorry for the teenager guy waiting on us; it was not his fault. I told him that I was not going to eat it, and that that was the worst Thai dish I had ever had, and that the flavor combination was awful. Well... much to my surprise, the owner (it is just the lady, the owner as far as I know; the one with the obvious burn marks on her face) in the back cooking; well, she did not take it off my bill (she never came to the register, or out front; we never even saw her in fact). Can you believe that. I had 3 bites of this horrible food, and was stuck paying for it.

Well.... besides starting to feel a bit queasy from eating whatever I ate, I am going to complain to her Chamber of Commerce, as well as to the Better Business Bureau, in addition to posting my review elsewhere.

My thoughts? AVOID AT ALL COST. That was a horrible meal, and they are obviously so lost, that they don't give a rat's arse about the customer base.

NO MORE for us!

Poor experience.

Ordered rice for two and only gave enough rice for one. Brought this to owner's attention and she said she had no more rice left. So she was going to charge rice for two but only enough for one. Brought the wrong order even though she told me what the correct order was supposed to be when she brought me my food. Brought water once and never saw service again. Food good but atrocious customer service.

This is one of my favorite pla...

This is one of my favorite places to eat! the curry is amazing and so is everything else I have ever ordered here. The people are always super friendly and helpful if you are not sure what you would like. Thai food is a little different so if you want to try something different and flavorful i highly recommend this place. The only thing I would ever change is a little more rice with the curry.

The food is fantastic, order the number 34 with Chicken and the pinapple fried rice... Very very good, sometimes it's a little slow to arrive because the get busy, but worth the wait.
