painless root canal

i was in extreme pain. i was able to get a prompt appointment. dr. michaelson had to do a root canal through a crown. he was amazing. numbed the tooth. no pain whatsoever. dr. michaelson kept asking me how am i doing. he and the staff were amazing. i highly reccommend dr. michelsons office.

IN MY OPINION BATE AND SWITCH AND DECEPTION -

IN MY OPINION THIS DR.'S OFFICE THAT HE I ASSUME IS RESPONSIBLE FOR DID NOT HAVE GOOD ETHICS AND I FELT DECEIVED. HIS MANAGER, PERSON THAT TAKES APPOINTMENTS AS WELL AS DOES INSURANCE FOR THIS DOCTOR SET UP AN APPOINTMENT WITH ME AFTER WE WENT OVER IN GREAT DETAIL ABOUT MY SITUATION AND MY PREVIOUS DENTIST TURNED IN MY WORK RELATED INJURY TO MY DENTAL INSURANCE AND NOT WORKMAN'S COMP. APPARENTLY DENTISTS DON'T HAVE TO FILE WITH WORKMAN'S COMP EVEN IF THEY ARE STILL IN THE BWC SYSTEM AS A PROVIDER. AT MY ER VISIT MY FAMILY DENTIST CALLED DR. MICHAELSON AND SPOKE TO HIM DIRECTLY. THE MG./SECRETARY/INSURANCE PERSON SAID SHE OVERHEARD THEIR CONVERSATION AND THAT MY CLAIN SHOULD GO INTO WORKMAN'S COMP AND NOT MY DENTAL INSURANCE. NEVER ASKED FOR DENTAL INS AT TIME OF APPOINTMENT AND WENT FURTHR TO TELL ME THAT THAT WOULD BE MONEY TAKEN OUT OF WHAT I AM ALLOWED EACH YEAR WITH MY DENTAL INS. AND THIS HAPPENED AT WORK. ASSURED ME IT WOULD BE HANDLED THROUGH WORKMAN'S COMP AND FOR ME TO BRING ALL MY PAPERWORK FROM THE TIME I WAS INJURED AND WENT TO URGENT CARE AND ANYTHING I HAD WITH WORKMANS COMP INCLUDING MY BWC CARD. WENT TO MY APPOINTMENT THE FOLLOWING DAY. WHILE I WAS FILLING OUT HISTORY FORMS THE PERSON THAT MADE MY APPT. SAID "I FORGOT TO GET YOUR DENTAL INS. ON THE PHONE YESTERDAY. I DIDN'T UNDERSTAND WHY SHE NEEDED IT SINCE WOKMAN'S COMP WAS THE RESPONSIBLE PARTY BUT JUST THOUGHT THEY NEEDED IT IN GENERAL FOR THEIR RECORDS OR FOR FURTHER POSSIBLE WORK I MIGHT HAVE DONE NOT RELATED TO WORKMANS COMP. I WAS IN A LOT OF PAIN AND DIDN'T FEEL NEED TO READ EVERYTHING CAREFULLY AS SHE SAID I NEED YOU TO SIGN YOUR NAME HERE. I THEN SAID "HERE IS ALL THE INFORMATION YOU ASKED ME TO BRING SO THAT YOU CAN TURN THIS ALL INTO WORKMANS COMP. SHE TOLD ME THAT THE DOCTOR KNEW THE WHOLE STORY AND HE WOULD TALK TO ME WHEN I GOT BACK TO THE ROOM. HE WAS NOT THERE AND HIS X-RAY PERSON IMMEDIATELY PUT X-RAYS IN M MOUTH. WHILE TAKING THE X-RAYS AND BEGINNING THE START OF THE REASON WHY I WAS THERE SHE ANNOUNCED THAT BY THE WAY DR. MICHAELSON IS NOT A BWC PROVIDER. WHEN I COULD TALK I TOLD HER THE DESK PERSON TOLD ME SHE WAS TURNING THIS INTO WORKMAN'S COMP AT THE TIME OF MY APPOINTMENT. WELL THE END RESULT WAS WHEN I TOLD THE DOCTOR THAT SHE SAID THAT AND TOLD ME SHE SAID TO BRING IN ALL OF MY WORKMANS COMP PAPER WORK AND ID WITH CLAIM NO. HE SAID"OH, SHE PROBABY JUST SAID THAT BECAUSE MOST PATIENTS DON'T BRING IN ENOUGH PAPERWORK." I SAID NO THAT WAS NOT THE CASE AT ALL. SHE IN FACT TOLD ME I SHOULD NOT TURN THIS INTO MY INS AND SHE WOULD BE TURNING IT INTO WORKMANS COMP. IT WASN'T UNTIL AFTER I LEARNED THAT HE WAS NOT GOING TO TURN INTO WORKMANS COMP AND HE SAID HE WAS NOT A PROVIDER OF WORKMANS COMP - SO WHY WOULD HIS MANAGER/SECRETARY, INSURANCE PERSON TELL ME SHE WAS? I SAID "WELL YOU BETTER TALK TO YOUR STAFF BECAUSE I AM VERY UPSET. I INTENDED TO HAVE TIHIS DENTIST DO ANY ROOT CANALS IF THAT WAS WHAT I WOULD NEED AS I WAS TOLD BY MY REGULAR DENTIST WITH TRAUMA TO THE MOUTH THAT SOMETIMES ROOT CANALS SOMETIMES END UP BEING NECESSARY. WELL IT ENDED UP I DO NEED SOME DONE BUT AT CHECK OUT I CONFRONTED THE PERSON THAT MADE MY APPT. SHE APOLGIZED AND SAID SHE KNEW ALL THAT SHE SAID TO ME AND WAS SO VERY SORRY. SHE SAID APPARENTLY HE DID A SPECIAL CASE FOR BWS PATIENT AND MAYBE THAT IS HOW HE GOT ON THE LIST WITH THEM. I SAID, DON'T DENTIST HAVE A RESPONSIBLITY TO THEN TAKE THEIR NAMES OFF? SHE DID NOT ANSWER. I SAID SO WHAT DO I DO NOW? I SAID THE TESTING I JUST WENT THROUGH WAS VERY PAINFUL AND I WAS IN MORE PAIN THAN I WAS BEFORE. I WAS GIVEN AN ANESTHETIC BECAUSE OF THE PAIN AFTER THE TESTING WAS DONE AND THE DOCTOR SAID THAT "QUITE FRANKLY ADVIL SHOULD TAKE CARE OF THIS KIND OF PAIN." I SAID I HAD BEEN TAKIN THAT AND IT DIDN'T BUDGE THE PAIN NOR DI...

Dr. Michaelson has done a few of my root canals and each visit has been more pleasant than going for a check up with a regular dentist. He makes every effort to make the procedure as comfortable as possible, always being cognitive of any discomfort of the patient (which has only been nervousness in my case). It wasn't until I went to a "jack of all trades" dentist that I really appreciated Dr. Michaelson's skill. I had to go back to Dr. Michaelson after a root canal was done by my new dentist and I could no longer tolerate the pain after the procedure. Come to find out the dentist did a root canal on the wrong tooth. The whole experience was a nightmare! Thanks to Dr. Michaelson I am again pain free. I learned the hard way that it's worth the few extra miles to get it done the right way, the first time.
