They took 1/2 down payment back in June 2016 with a written guarantee to complete the fence installation by July 30th. I placed several calls to them and got the BBB in the loop on the problem. I have now filed suit to get my money back. I only have the sheet metal old fence down with no concrete chainwall, no new poles, no cross boards, and no vertical fence boards as of Oct 9th.
If anyone does decide to use this business, pay them as they complete multiple small milestones with nothing down upfront.

I love my new fence! Because this was a custom made product, it required some time to fabricate. The crew was professional and courteous. The wait period was well worth it. The end result is a custom made strong iron fence and gates that will last long past my lifetime. They professionaly disassembled an existing fence which I was required to dispose of. No problem at all it was intact and I had no trouble getting rid of it. The installation crew cleaned up and left my yard spic and span!

The company did a great job with installing my fence BUT I do not recommend them. They do not stick to schedules and they do not clean up after themselves. I have repeatedly called them to have them remove trash left in my yard and they repeatedly promise to do it "tomorrow." Many "tomorrow's" have come and gone and I have yet to see them. Do yourself a favor and hire a professional who fully completes the job.

We had a Beautiful Iron Fence and Iron Gate installed!! We Love Everything!! It took a little time due to be it being custom built but the wait was well worth the Beautiful job they did!! Friendly Workers and Great Customer Service

We had a VERY expensive gate system installed at our apartment complex to completely secure the complex. Southern Fence installers and owner were very nice when they were selling the system to us. HOWEVER the system has NEVER worked right. When they finally show up to say they are going to fix it, they are always missing something and have to come back. Then they never show up with whatever they are missing. They have repeatedly told us they are on their way out and then never show. This is the WORST company I have ever dealt with. It is beyond me why they continually lie to us. Just do what you repeatedly promise to do....fix the problems and let us move on. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY UNLESS YOU WANT TO PAY ALOT OF MONEY BE CONSTANTLY FRUSTRATED AND HAVE A GATE SYSTEM THAT WILL NEVER WORK RIGHT.

I would not use them again. They have done two jobs that I have been involved with. First one was I called them to do gates on a family members house. Everything seemed like it was going as planned but then it was not done when they said it would be. They did not put the right latches that they would have and they did not install the locks. They are very expensive which is just fine if your paying for on time quality work that is done the right way the first time.

The other job they did is the one that has the most cause for concern. They were hired to install the power gates for the subdivision that I live in. They have been working on it for months and it is still not done right. They have been called to come back to fix there mistakes more times then I can count. They are unable to stick to a time line nor do they clean up after themselves. The residents of my subdivision have taken into there own hands to do a lot of the work that southern fence was hired to do. Every time they would say we will be done or have that part tomorrow. Then when tomorrow comes it's we will be done in 3 days then it's we will be done next week and now it has been over 3 months(maybe more I just don't remember).

Never hired them, but I looked them up based on the advertisement I saw on the truck of the rudest, most aggressive driver I've encountered in recent memory. Best to flip strangers off from a personal vehicle without your business advertised on it. I was just changing lanes to get out from behind a stopped cement truck. I signaled and everything. I wouldn't hire anyone with that short of a fuse.
