Shihu Ge has practiced Traditional Chinese Medicine for over 38 years. He is from a family which has practiced TCM for over eight generations. He is a graduate from the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine at Beijing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine where he received a combined degree in Western Medicine and Traditional Chinese Medicine. He practiced at the First Teaching Hospital at Beijing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine and also served as assistant professor in the Department of Acupuncture at Beijing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. He has been a certified Acupuncturist and Herbologist by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) since 1995. He is also currently a licensed acupuncturist in the state of Illinois since 1998.
