Kris does a great job with my very difficult hair. I've tried all the shops and for my money this is the best.

I've gotten my hair (the works) there many times. It's not too difficult to walk in the salon and let them know you're there. They don't have a full time receptionist. So if they are all w/clients-just call out! This is one of the few places I've been truly comfortable. They are expert professionals, and they don't charge an arm and leg. It's nice to go to a place that isn't full of newbies experimenting on my hair or doing what they think looks good-but doesn't. I like to patronize my local businesses and they are better than several Chicago places.

New to exploring this part of town, I made an unexpected stop by this salon to check on services offered & a price list but was entirely ignored by all staff after sitting in the waiting area for 7-10 minutes. Absolutely no acknowledgement. A patron should not have to make the first introductory move.A cursory, 2-second verbal acknowledgment from staff would be a polite, professional way to acknowledge a potential client. But perhaps it was these stylists' preferred way of indicating "By appointment only." Well done. I won't walk in again.
