Edison Middle School offers a variety of academic and co-curricular programs to students. It has an enrollment of more than 600 students in grades six through eight. The organization provides various subjects, such as English, American and world history, mathematics, government, geography and computer applications. The school has various departments, such as a student council, Gen YES Computer, jazz band, intramurals, athletics, super comets, string quartet, homework and science Olympiad. It also has other clubs that include breakfast, extended day and history club. The school has special Latino and international percussion guitar and soccer departments that involve students in extracurricular programs. The school is located in Champaign, Ill., and is affiliated with the Champaign Community Unit School District 4.
