I have read the other reviews and wanted to add mine because my experience has been quite different. I have found the building manager to be very responsive whenever I have had interactions with him. I enjoy the quiet calm atmosphere of the building and especially like having a washer, dryer and dishwasher in the apartment. I has made my life much easier. I don't think you can get a better apartment for this price.

Poor management. You are treated rudely. They will try to take as much of your deposit as possible when you leave. Never ever sign a lease with them. Poorly built apartments... And VERY poor management.

Appliances are so old. The apt is heated and cooled using a window unit from 1993. My heat bill in winter is OVER $100 for a 350 square foot apt. The Land lord expects you to keep it on all the time. Hallways look terrible, filthy and nasty. Apartment was fake cleaned before I moved in. Promised things would get fixed. Carpet wasn't cleaned. Land lord NEVER answers phone calls. Even after you leave a message you have to call back 4-5 times before anything happens.



The land lord enters apartments with no notice even though the lease says otherwise. I found out from past tenants, you hardly get any deposit back when to leave. She charges $60 for cleaning carpets and $60 for cleaning regardless if the apt is clean. Even though my apt was filthy when I moved in. I'm so afraid I wont get my $500 deposit back I cant even go to the tenant union.



The owner is also has a lawsuit for fraud!! Google "hardwick" and lawsuit and it comes up!!!
