awful horrible terrible

DO NOT COME HERE!!!!!!!THIS PLACE IS AWFUL.They will charge you $69 for a diagnostic report. According to other authorized Apple stores, THIS IS RIDICULOUS THIS SHOULD BE FREE. I had a tech guy say a diagnostic report isn't even worth $10!!! DO NOT BRING YOUR BROKEN LAPTOP HERE.I called them after spilling soda on my MacBook Pro. They said it was necessary to come in IMMEDIATELY. I live an hour away, so this is not ideal. They said they need to take it apart and clean off the inside so that it doesn't corrode. When I asked the employee working about it he said that was not the case and I didn't need to bring it in immediately. So basically, they were lying to me! A waste of time and gas.I even told them that I lived an hour away but they insisted. Had they not insisted I would not have driven all the way there and I would have waited to bring it to the campus store on my campus.Eastern Illinois University has an authorized Apple campus store in their bookstore and they will NOT charge you this ridiculous fee. Also they told me my computer would cost $1400 to repair and then they tried to convince me to buy a new computer. These people are thieves! Do not trust what they tell you. When I got my laptop back it powered on normally. They are saying it would corrode over time but according to other technicians that I've spoken to, this is not the case. Also, they ran the diagnostic test immediately after it had been exposed to liquid. All technicians that I've spoken to say you should wait a minimum of 24 hours before powering on an electronic device after exposure to liquid to avoid further damage. They did not do this. They risked further damaging my laptop. They act polite but really they just want your money. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.

Terrible staff and shady business practices - beware!!

Laptop went in with a broken trackpad and came out with a broken display and logic board, each of which never had prior issues. They claimed both failures were my fault and refused to do any repairs until I paid $1400, even though the original work was covered by warranty. Their employees also made me feel like I was an annoyance for simply being in their business. I will never go back again.
