Chandler Public Works Department works with city staff, elected officials and the public in planning, developing, constructing and maintaining the streets and airport public infrastructure of Chandler, Ariz. The engineering division is responsible for the master planning of public works infrastructure, such as water, wastewater and storm drainage. These master plans are implemented through the five-year capital improvement plan that is coordinated through this division. The department s transportation and operations division oversees city streets, traffic engineering, transit, street sweeping and the municipal airport. Transit services and street sweeping are the other divisions within Chandler Public Works Department.
