Children learn about the world around them in many different ways and no two children learn exactly the same. This is why Exploring My World's mission is to guide children in activities where more than one sensory stimulus is involved. Our goal is to prepare the children for future learning in a fun and positive atmosphere. While promoting their skills for school, the children will also learn and grow in their social, emotional and physical development. Exploring My World uses Creative Curriculum, Zoo-Phonics, Centers, and Circle Time to present learning opportunities. Centers include: Dramatic play, Science, Books, Art/Creative Activities, Block Area, Manipulatives, Sensory Table, Math and Writing. Circle Times include: Stories, Music/Movement, Games, Calendar and Alphabet. Sign Language and Spanish are introduced. The large playground offers many fun activities. Monthly, the children have chapel. The focus is the Fruits of the Spirit: Self control, Patience, Peace, Kindness, Joy, Gentleness, Love, Goodness and Faithfulness. (Areas all integrated into Exploring My World's daily classes).
