I started training with Brenda 6 weeks ago and I have been very pleased with the results and am so thankful that she came highly recommended by two friends. Brenda makes you work hard and pushes me to a level that is hard is still doable. I have trained with other trainers before but none have measured up to Brenda's passion or ability. My results have surpassed my expectations, and I feel very blessed to have Brenda as my trainer.

Brenda is an amazing trainer! My husband and I were incredibly out of shape and overweight and we needed someone to guide us. When looking for a trainer we wanted someone who would give us focused attention with strong results at a fair price. Brenda is all those things and more! We started working out with her 6 weeks ago and so far my husband and I have lost 17 pounds each! Not to mention the looser fitting clothes! She works you hard and pushes you and has you do things you didn't know you could do. She monitors your eating and teaches new habits and now eating out isn't an issue since I know what to look for. Needless to say, we are both continuing our training with her because the results speak for themselves.

Brenda Bark is by far the best...

Brenda Bark is by far the best trainer. She has been training me 3 times a week over the last 2.5 months. Brenda is firm and she pays attention to my fitness needs. Brenda not only tells me how to eat, she tells me what to eat , when to eat, and has me fill out a daily journal and monitors my eating habits, every time I train. She must be doing something right, because in just a short time with her training me I've lost 22 pounds and 18 inches. SHE ROCKS!!!!

The woman cares only about herself and not about her clients in the least. She has had very unprofessional arguments and drama in front of her classes. I have been going for a while, to say it has gone downhill is an understatement.

The person that wrote this untruth about me and my business was a close friend whom could not seperate friendship from business. Although lost 48 pounds in 16 weeks with Focus on Fitness and her results are posted on my website. Unfortunatley, she left Focus on Fitness due to pregnancy and when she returned 9 months later, I felt she was not giving 100% to her workouts or being consistent, and this affected both personal and professional relationship. However, I wish her the best and applaud her previous success with Focus on Fitness..

I am a client of Focus on Fitness and work out with Brenda Bark 3 times a week! Although the workouts are intense, Brenda guides me through each of my work outs and makes it FUN!! What makes Brenda different then other trainers (and I have trained with several in my lifetime) is she truly cares about every one of her clients and seeing that they reach their fitness and weight goals! She will push you, but let’s face it, we could all use a little pushing when trying to lose weight and get fit! Along with the workouts, Brenda also provides a meal plan to help you achieve your goal! When I first started at Focus on Fitness, I was very out of shape, now I am strong, healthy and fit! I would highly recommend Focus on Fitness and Brenda Bark.

Brenda Bark is by far the best trainer I have ever worked with. I have worked with at least three over the last ten years. Brenda is caring, but firm, and she pays attention to my fitness needs. I have had trainers in the past that have not even told me how to eat, but Brenda not only tells me how to eat, she tells me what to eat , when to eat, and has me fill out a daily journal and monitors my eating habits, every time I train. She is a gem, and worth every penny. I have hit my goal, and then some!!

Brenda is the best trainer in the Valley

Hi, my name is Roxanne. In December, I decided to make the decision to lose weight and get in shape for an upcoming college reunion. Of course, I waited until 6 weeks before my reunion to start this endeavor. I contacted 20+ trainers in the Valley and explained that I was over 200lbs and needed to lose a lot of weight correctly and quickly because of my reunion. I could barely walk up more than one flight of stairs without getting winded! Brenda Bark WAS the ONLY trainer who was completely honest with me and candid about what I needed and could reasonably do in the time frame I was working with... I signed up with Brenda, worked out every single day, followed her nutrition plan and I lost 40lbs before the reunion. It's now 13 weeks since I started and I have lost over 60lbs. I'm in the best shape of my entire life (well I still have about 20-25lbs more to lose) and I have never felt better. I owe all of it to Brenda. She is dedicated trainer who is passionate about what she does... She even went so far as to go grocery shopping with me to ensure I was "eating clean". Anyone who thinks they can get in shape without a nutritional plan just clearly doesn't get it (like the person who posted the incorrect - negative review). Honestly, prior to starting Brenda's program, I was lazy, ate nothing but junk food and used food as my comfort. Brenda motivated me to change EVERYTHING. Brenda's communication style MOTIVATES people to push themselves. She is direct and honest and I wouldn't have it any other way... Brenda's way is about results... So, if you're serious about getting fit, willing to make it a commitment and priority, Brenda Bark is the right trainer for you. Lastly, I'm proud to be one of Focus on Fitness before and after clients. I have been placed in the newspaper ad and in the website, http://myfocusonfitness.com for my results.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME

I called to get information - the person I spoke to was rude, short, cut me off while I was speaking - She sounded so negitiave. I was only interested in the Personal Training and not wanting to add Nutrition right now because of my budget. She told me she was not willing to work with me and hung up. I felt so put down - I wouldn't recommend this place even to my worst enemy!!!!

First of all, I wish google would remove this 2008 response. This woman called and said that she received welfare and needed help with her obsesity. I felt sorry for her and took time out of my day to go over my eating requirements and how to choose healthy foods. She mentioned that she and her family eat bologna for lunvh.. She had 6 children she was also feeding this to. I informed her that this ws not a good meal and would not work with my program. She was offended because she said she was on a budget.. I get that.. then eat tuna!!Every time I look at this reveiw I don't know whether to laugh or get angry at the system. Needless to say I know this sounds unbelievable but this really happened. You know what I have to say: DON'T EAT BOLOGNA!!
