Willis Junior High School offers education to more than 1,100 students in grades seven and eight. It provides various subjects in its curriculum, including English, math, science, social studies, foreign languages and language arts. It also provides health and physical education classes and special education. The school offers various sports activities, such as basketball, volleyball, softball, soccer, football, swimming, cross country, track and field, tennis and cheerleading. It provides a variety of extracurricular activities to students that include jazz band, National Honor Society, quiz bowl, science Olympiad, yearbook, choir, student council, and music and dance clubs.
