I chose to become a doctor because I love helping people feel better. I get to meet and connect with all kinds of people and have the opportunity to educate and make a real, even if it’s small, difference in someone’s life. My philosophy of care is the patient always comes first. Be fully present and take as much time as you need to with someone. Be kind and compassionate. Taking care of someone is a team effort, and always remember that taking care of someone is a true privilege. When I am not working, I enjoy art, yoga, road and mountain biking, cooking, gardening, and spending time with my husband and two parrots.
