Provided by YP.comThis place is beyond great! I've been taking my dog to Cole Park for years. People who would post negative reviews tend to be more motivated to do so. Believe me, the silent majority loves this place. My dog is a soon-to-be 13 year old lab-pit mix who still acts like he's 2. There is no doubt in my mind the reason he acts like he does is because the doctors and techs take such great care of him. It's worth the hour and half drive to Chapel Hill to get him the best care available. My dog is family and there is no way I would accept anything but the best for him. I found the best at Cole Park. Can't endorse them enough!

Provided by YP.comFirst off, I have been taking my pets to Cole Park for over FIFTEEN years. After losing yet another family pet days after seeing the doctors at this "hospital," it is time for an honest review of this place--THIS IS THE ABSOLUTE WORST VETERINARY HOSPITAL BY FAR. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR ENDANGER THE LIVES OF YOUR BELOVED PETS BY TAKING THEM TO THESE INEXPERIENCED ANIMAL DOCTORS THAT LACK EMPATHY!
I took my 17 year old cat to the vet because he seemed ill. Cole Park failed to treat him and he ended up dying because of their failure to provide legitimate treatment. Ran so many tests (including ultrasounds, x rays, UTI screen, etc.) and never provided any results or treatment.

Provided by SuperpagesDANGER: Found guilty of malpractice after giving cat third degree burn. We paid hundreds of dollars to have our cat's teeth cleaned at Cole Park and while she was under anesthesia, due to a misuse or malfunction of heating pads, they severely burned her on almost 10% of her body. The burn that they gave her was misdiagnosed by 3 different doctors 3 separate times. Our cat was left without pain medicine or proper treatment for four weeks. We took her to the ER as soon as we found out what really happened and after seeing a specialty surgeon, she had the entirety of the burn and the dead tissue underneath removed and the two sides of her skin were stitched together. They cost her 4 weeks of pain, a $1500 surgery, a week in emergency medical boarding, and weeks of recovery. It is shocking it did not cost her life. She was a perfectly healthy four-year-old cat. None of this was necessary. They volunteered little support or apology, only offering to attempt to fix the burn with a procedure they were not qualified to perform. We have trusted all four of our cats to Cole Park Veterinary Hospital for many years and are heartbroken by the betrayal of both our loyalty and our trust, and by the lack of any sincere concern or remorse on the part of their staff.I would not wish our experience on anyone. I would, however, strongly urge you to think twice before placing your animal in their care.

Provided by YP.comThese are my former vets. I quit bringing my animals to them many years ago because of misdiagnosis and overtreatment. They have since built a fancy new building, with a spa-like lobby and plenty of merchandise for sale. I picked up a lost dog off the side of a busy road, and took her to Cole Park as they were nearby, and I had my daughter in the car and could not take the dog home because I have my own large dogs there. Cole Park staff was rude, hostile, and refused to help me or this dog in any way. This is not a community-minded business, they are clearly focused so hard on the bottom line and their luxurious building that they do not consider the reason for being in the business, to help animals. There are many other vets out there, and in fact we have a wonderful housecall vet now that gives sensible, reasonably priced treatment with great compassion. I recommend that if you are looking for a vet, try a housecall vet before you take your animals to Cole Park. If I could give them zero stars, I would. Avoid.

Provided by SuperpagesAs the owner of a 'difficult' cat, a trip to the vet is always a stress filled experience, both for her and us. Dr. Pagel and her assistant made the visit stress free for both of us. Our cat was treated gently, all of our questions and concerns were addressed and everything went smoothly. What a treat to know that there are still places that know what customer service is and will treat you and your animal with kindness. A great value for your money. We won't ever go anywhere else !! Thanks Cole Park for keeping us well !!

Provided by SuperpagesDr. Droke performs acupuncture on my dog and has helped her to continue walking and playing. At first a little skeptical about this service, I am now a "True Believer". I can't thank her and her wonderful staff enough for all the love and care they have shown my dog and myself. If you need a vet I recommend Cole Park Veterinary Hospital.

Provided by YP.comI took my cat to see the Doc's at Colepark and I was so impressed by their caring and knowledge. My cat got acupuncture which helped to ease her stiffness and they have the most wonderful vet assistant ever. She was so good with my cranky kitty !! I am recommending all my friends here.
