Requested a window table when making reservation 2 weeks in advance. Was told, "no problem". Called 2 days prior to confirm and was again told our table request had been noted. Upon arriving (on time) both window tables were occupied. Hostess gave us a weak apology and we were seated at a table on the wall about 18" from the table next to us. We could not have a private conversation during our meal.



The food was mediocre and overpriced, the service was slow, and the air conditioning was not working well.



Will nit dine at Elaine's again and will tell friends and family about our negative experience.
