The Frontier Trading Post gift shop and Hook, Line & Sinker bait & tackle shop are know for their everyday super low prices.  Both the stores are well stocked w/lots to choose from.  The antique barn is a great place to go "picking" for old unique stuff.  And we have a great family friendly fun place - the Soda Pop Saloon.  Where you can find live music, dinner & dancing every Saturday night April thru October.  This is a non-alcoholic venue and guests of all ages are welcome.  We've even opened a children's are for kids to play.  This is a family run business w/3 generations helping to keep things running.  We are committed to customer satisfaction and will do our best to see to your needs.  Next door to our location our neighbor is opening Country Cabins Glamor Camping w/indoor camping and all kinds of neat places to stay for a great get-away.  We are also within 1/2 mile from Red Haw State Park, w/lake access to Red Haw lake.  Two other great fishing lakes, Morris and Ellis are also w/in 1/2 mile of our location.  Yep, we're right in the middle of the 3 lakes.  So stop by and check out this fun place.  You won't believe what we've packed into these 3 acres.  Just look for the big buffalo aprox 1 mile east of Chariton Iowa on Hwy 34.
