I've been ordering floral arrangements at Fields of Heather for over twenty years, and would never consider any other florist. Tom, Heather, and their staff have always gone out of their way to be helpful and courteous, and their floral creations have always been beautiful and creative. Whether my order needed to be something somber for the passing of a dear friend, an impressive basket for an important business associate, or the perfect bouquet of coral roses to tell my wife how beautiful and amazing she is, I could trust no other florist like Fields of Heather...

I have used Fields of Heather for over 3 years, and I have never been disappointed. They've made some beautiful floral arrangements for me that are unique and colorful. I mainly use them to send flowers to my mother who lives in Charleroi (I'm in North Carolina), and despite the long-distance nature of my purchases, they've never sent a disappointing arrangement (per the photos/descriptions that my mother sends). The bouquet are always colorful and appropriately sized for the amount of money spent, and they generally last a while (at least a week, if not much longer -- the bouquet they delivered 8 days ago, which I happen to be in town to see, still looks very nice and none of the flowers have turned brown yet). I'm very pleased.

The designers at Fields of Heather are truly artists! Their pieces are unique and beautiful! I often call for same-day deliveries, and they send something gorgeous for a very reasonable price. They are a gem in the Mon Valley.

I ordered a sheath of wheat for my aunt's viewing. While ordering, I was very specific about how I wanted the arrangement to look. The florist helped me along by identifying different varieties of flowers which would compliment the sheath of wheat. I was kind of "afraid" that the arrangement would not be perfect, as I am quite the perfectionist. This, also, was for my very dear, favorite aunt, and I wanted nothing but the best. Upon reaching the funeral home and seeing the sheath of wheat in the casket, I was so very pleased to find a beautiful arrangement of dried flowers, coordinating ribbon and a beautifully written (caligraphy) banner which said "Aunt". My name, along with my childrens' names were included on a beautiful note attached to the arrangement. I had intended to take the sheath of wheat as a rembrance of my aunt but decided that something so beautiful would have to remain with her. Fields of Heather created a lovely, final gift for my aunt. Thank you!

DO NOT buy flowers here!!!IN the store I picked an arrangement from a book with 3 minor changes. I wanted the large brown basket the florist showed me, not pictured urn. Dark pink replacing red gerberas, & lilies instead of roses. NO roses. At the funeral was a tiny ugly white basket with no gerberas, a few lilies & many roses. I called immediately. I politely restated what I had paid for & was told someone would take & fix them before the next viewing. I also talked to the delivery guy. When I returned, they were still in the white basket & there were STILL roses. The florist added a couple of pale pink gerberas, tons of tacky weedlike daisies & massive fern filler. Call 2 ended with the florist's RUDE wife screaming about getting her flowers & returning my money. She knew I couldn't get any other flowers in time, & there would be an empty space next to my gram's casket. I had no choice but to keep the terrible thing. You, however, do have a choice to spare yourself the heartache.
