I took my dogs to Michelle today and have never been happier. I have a very hyper dog who doesn't know his own size or strength and can be very overwhelming at times. This wad his first trip to the groomers and not to mention it was pouring down rain (he is scared of storms) and she did amazing with him. He looks like a brand new dog :)

I have had the pleasure of working with Michelle at K-9 Designs, she is a a wonderful person to be around. So positive and upbeat with everyone, including the dogs. She truly has a connection the dogs that comes from her heart. She lives for dogs, she currently has 10 of her own. She devotes her life to dogs everywhere. Michelle has been grooming my dogs for many many years now. My dog Holly Ann is older and has some medical issues and Michelle is more caring and compassionate with her and with all the dogs she sees then anyone could ask for. I would never trust anyone with my animals more then I trust Michelle.

I work with this lady all I can say is that her love is ammazing she loves them all. I have seen animals half dead walk in and seen them leave a lot better with her help she is not a vet but very wise and special GOD gave her this gift she is very heart warming and helpful. I have a little shiba inu and she tried. To challenge Michelle well that didn't last long lol no she gives her hugs and kisses when she sees her. Finally Michelle tells you truth and she doesn't sugar code it I love it she is an ammazing women who deserves and has earned anybody respect:) thanks for all you do.

I'm with the lady who says K-9 is a great place to take your dog. I have a dog who is fearful of most people. I saved her from an abused home. Her loves Michelle. Don't let a disgruntled worked ruin a good opportunity to take your dog to a groomer it won't mind going to.

Ok, I just read Callie's review. First, if your going to write lies about someone, make sure you are grammatically correct. It can make someone lose credibility.

Second, the statements that were made are completely insane and have been reported as abuse. I have taken my dog to Michelle for seven years. I also took my dog to K9 Essentials (which then became East Coast Grooming and then the same family opened Fluff and Puff, all in Charleston, closing the previous business before opening the next...sound fishy?? Yeah, I thought so too). I took her there because, at the time, K9 Essentials' hours fit better with my current work schedule. However, after the care (and bedside manner) I got, I took her back to Michelle. Michelle genuinely cares for her dogs. She lives for dogs. She has rescued dogs for 25 years and she is one of the first people the animal shelter calls if they are in need of someone to “foster” a dog. I have called Michelle a couple of different times late at night and once on a weekend because I had a question or needed advice about how to handle a situation. Not only did she take the time to calm me down and help me correct the problem, she also called the next day just to make sure my dog was going alright.

As far as her temper, I challenge anyone who says they don't have a temper. EVERYONE has bad days and EVERYONE may lose it from time to time. She has NEVER abused a dog. Michelle has an open door policy. I have walked in unannounced and saw the exact same thing as a scheduled visit.

I would HIGHLY recommend K-9 designs by Michelle to anyone looking for a groomer. She doesn't do any advertising, and doesn't need to, all her clients come from word of mouth. I sincerely hope Callie does not ruin anyone's perception of Michelle. It will be a disjustice to their dog.
