Provided by SuperpagesIf only I had been smart enough to visit ACE when I first went through my bilateral mastectomy in 2008... I would have saved myself two years of angst. Everyone at ACE was very warm and friendly. Everyone made me feel like I was an essential part of the success of the business. They don't allow people to just walk in, so you must call ahead for an appointment. As a customer, that is just one more thing that made me feel extra special. Once there, the professionalism and one-on-one attention just keeps that warm feeling alive. I didn't feel rushed. I didn't feel like I was asking stupid questions. I didn't feel pressured into purchasing something I didn't want. Evey woman who has had to deal with breast cancer should treat herself to a visit to After Care Essentials. I know I'll return for all of my mastectomy needs. Thanks ACE.

Provided by SuperpagesAfter my diagnosis, AFTER CARE Essentials made me feel PRETTY! I was 19 Years old when diagnosed with breast cancer. I remember feeling unattractive. AFTER CARE provided me with products that boosted my self-esteem and made me feel beautiful on the inside and out! I have referred many breast care survivors to AFTER CARE Essentials based on the products and services they offer. Cathy D.

Provided by SuperpagesAfter Care Essentials was listed as a place that helped women who had cancer Imust have chemotherapy following a double mastectomy. I called, told them who I was and explained that I was looking for a wig(s) and needed to come into their shop between 10AM and 12Noon Monday because of a doctors visit in the afternoon. They assured me that would be no problem. I also explained that my daughter, hair dresser would be joining me. I have just moved to the area so on Monday, I called to get some landmarks as to where they were located on Ashley River Road. Again, I told them who I was and that I had spoken with them on Friday. At that point I was told I had no appointment and that they were fully booked for the day..no explanation as to why no appointment had been scheduled . I further explained that my daughter had driven a long way and had to return following my doctor's visit. There was no professionalism or even any attempt to try to work with us. The lady actually hung up on me.
