Had dinner here on my birthday and it was EXCELLENT! The combination of the ambiance, the food, our waiter, John, is why this is such
a suberb dining experience.

After reading other reviews of this restaurant, I 'm wondering whether we're all talking about the same place. Blossoms and its sisters, Magnolia and Cyprus, are all owned by the same guy and he does know what he's doing. Each place has its unique flavor, but there are similarities as well -- the service is routinely excellent at all 3, and the menu selections are broad and appealing to a wide range of palettes (even vegetarians). I'm a meat and seafood guy, and have never been disappointed here. I prefer to eat on the patio where you can hear a trickle of water running through the brick wall and even have a tiny frog or lizard join you for dinner (makes for fun dinner conversation). The patio is for romantic dining; the dining room for more formal affairs. The wine list is excellent (though Cyprus' is better). Grand dining in the upscale lowcountry style.

My meal and service were both exceptional. A great place for up-scale southern style food.
