Dr. James Price Jr. is an upper extremity specialist focusing on disorders of the hand, wrist, elbow and shoulder. He is board certified in orthopaedic surgery with more than 23 years of experience in private practice in Charleston. He completed his medical degree at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) and his residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at Wake Forest University / NC Baptist Hospital, followed by a fellowship in hand surgery at the Thomas Jefferson Medical Center. His interests are in reconstructive hand surgery, arthroscopy of major upper extremity joints and total shoulder replacements. He also specializing in non-surgical alternatives to Dupytren’s Contracture, and is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
