I recently moved out of Village Square Apartments. I loved the location. The section where I lived was very quiet. The neighbors were nice. Some issues I had was being on the lower lever, you can hear every single step the person above makes. You can even hear them using the restroom. The neighbor on the lower level shares your ventilation so if they smoke marijuana - best believe your apartment will smell like they smoked in your apartment. I called maintenance 2x's in regards to it and nothing was done. Mold and mildew are on the window trimming. Called maintenance to fix a toilet and they didn't fix it but I end up with a toilet charge. Unbelievable!!
The last issue I had was the same as everyone else. When you leave - no matter how good you clean the apartment it seems to never be good enough for the manager Kathy. She will literally find something/anything to add up to the amount of the deposit and they can keep it. Plus she will find more so you will have to come out of pocket. When leaving it is best to have a certified letter sent to her so she has to do a walk through....if she doesn't do one with you - WATCH OUT. I have had email communication with Kathy and asked that she copy the owners so they would know what is taking place and so they can see the video I did to show how the property was left and she refused. I feel that it is only right that the owners know what is taking place and that is why I am doing this review. There are several other reviews that point her out. May need to look into that.
