Provided by YP.comI don't know that I have ever had such poor service at a "fine jewelry" store. I walked into Polly's this morning to find a birthday gift for my 21 year old goddaughter. The store was not crowded. I was not greeted when I entered, even though the sales personnel saw me. I proceeded to look at the jewelry selection in each case, but at no time did anyone acknowledge my presence. I continued to look. A lady walked in the store, was greeted and a sales person immediately asked if she could help her. I continued to look. A gentleman walked in, was greeted and a sales person immediately asked if she could help him. It was at this point I realized I had made a mistake in shopping at Polly's. I had been in the store for at least 15-20 minutes. I told the sales person "I must be invisible," and I left the store.
I went to a competitor's store, was greeted upon arrival, was helped with finding a suitable gift, made my purchase and was out of the store within 20 minutes - all of this despite the store being busy. I told the sales person about my experience at Polly's, and I will share with others. Polly's has lost any future business with me.
