I love south of philly. I've only ever got their pizza (which is incredible) but today I got a salad with grilled chicken, quite honestly the best salad I've ever had! And the monkey zepps...that caramel tho!

This place is horrible. My family and I live out of town, but visit Charleston twice a year and we were excited to eat at an 'authentic' pizzeria. My whole family was terribly disappointed. The service was horrible and the staff took FOREVER to get the food to us. They were so slow! We had people come in and order after us and they got their food before we did. When we questioned why that happened the staff just told us that the other people had easier orders to fill. Really? We were not rude to them by any means, and I thought that was terribly disrespectful. When they finally got the food to us it was like eating a salt shaker. The food wasn't even worth waiting on. I would definitely think twice before eating here. We will never eat at this place again!

This is in this humble reviewer's opinion the most authentic shop in town for the real Philadelphia experience! The pizza tops Andolini's AND Baroni's and the cheese steaks are the best thing shy of a drive to Summerville to eat at Philly's. The owners and original manager's of the restaurant are all Philadelphia native's and have a drive to bring you the most authentic taste possible. You will NOT want to miss their food. Try it once and you'll never regret it.
