Worst company I’ve ever seen. The buses are old nothing on them work. The bus broke down and the trip had to be rescheduled and the guy was still late after it was rescheduled. We had to refund over $1,000 on our red eye trip. The owner said he would mail out a refund and never did. He’s very friendly on the phone until he gets your money. Don't use Cavs coach

The company does not pay its bills. They contracted with the Embassy Suites for rooms and food for a group and never paid the final bill. They gave us an invalid credit card and now they refuse to answer their phone of reply to my written requests for payment. Don't let them do this to you.

Stay home or find another company to take you group on tour!!!!!! These people are nothing more than thieves, liars, and cowards. ****Snap shot****, bus broke down in Orlando , Florida. Had to demand a replacement bus take us back to hotel 1 hour away from Universal Studios where we were stranded. Ended up bus not fixed until 9pm following day. Group was stranded at hotel with no transportation (22 Junior and Senior high school students), lost full day of spring break. Company verbally agreed to cover all costs of prepaid hotel at location in Myrtle Beach where we could not occupy the rooms already paid for the day we were stranded. Also agreed to pay for meals needed to feed group while stranded at hotel in Bushnell, Florida. Had to alter trip so much so, that driver had too many hours working when we arrived at Northern South Carolina location TO PERFROM CONCERT. Had to threaten legal action to get picked up by replacement bus after concert on Wed evening to be delivered to Myrtle Beach. Stranded in MB until original driver arrived @ 3pm next day. Finally arrived home, gave them copies of the receipts they agreed to pay for, stating they would call me on Monday to confirm. HAVE NEVER HEARD FROM THEM...THEY WILL NOT ANSWER CALLS...WE ARE DEALING WITH THIEVES, LIARS AND COWARDS WHO WILL PAY THE $1330 THEY OWE US, WHEN MY PIT BULL LAWYER GETS DONE WITH THEM. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!!!

NYC city trip for my wife and ...

NYC city trip for my wife and I. Bus was suppose to leave at 7:00 p.m. (lie #1) It was a Friday and had to rush from eating dinner to be ready. Bus was way late and wasted two and half hours of my time leaving which took well over an hour of our day trip in NYC. After our trip we were supposed to be picked up at 11:00 p.m. (lie #2) Around 11:00 p.m. they told us they were coming through the tunnel (lie #3), the bus was two hours late for pick up. We were in the Marriott Marquis but were kicked out of the lobby, so we had to wait outside in the cold for the bus. They told us later that there was a wreck and didn't have cell phone signal in the tunnel (lie #4), my wife had signal the whole way through the tunnel. Then when we get to New Jersey the we were told that we had a problem with our bus (lie #5), our bus was running fine. Later they told us the other bus has a problem with their battery. We were parked on the side of the interstate for hours. Finally I was awakened to a guy yelling at the bus driver why we parked on the side of the road (kudos to that guy, wonder how late we would have been getting home without him). We were 5 hours late getting home (additional meal at McDonalds required). We were lied to at leat five times, no apology for any of this. We told the owner in person that we wanted a refund he said "We got you to and from New York City, so no refund".

Would walk first. Dirty nasty...

Would walk first. Dirty nasty buses, plus 2 hours late picking us up to go and come home. Nothing like being on the streets of New York with the people in charge telling you your buses just cleared the tunnel. And 11/2hours later the same thing, then Oh yeah a wreck..then the bus you are on has a bad battery, so you sit on the side of the road, dark and close to road, because your battery is bad, Oh wait that is the other bus, you can leave at any tome.....WTF. Suppose to be home at 10:30, got here at 3:00. If these people could just tell the truth, plus the owner never apologized for the lies told to us or the delays.. I will never bus travel again...

The New York City Trip NONEVENT

Two buses with 54 passengers on each bus were scheduled to leave Clendinin 8 PM. One bus showed up saying the 2nd bus was broken with a replacement coming in one hour. 2 hours later the 2nd bus showed but did not have enough seats; one passenger volunteered to miss the trip. Same transmission problems as mentioned in earlier review, at least 3 broken seats, no air circulation as windshield and windows were fogged with the driver having to wipe away the moisture to see to drive. Diesel fumes became over whelming at Weston with some of the fumes more than likely coming from a hole in the floor in the back of the bus that had duct tape over it, pulled off at a Sheets to assess the issue. Back on I 79 to Jane Lew, about 2 miles where trip was stopped again because of the diesel fumes. This was the original bus that was not broken down. CAVS could not provide another bus in a timely fashion and the trip was canceled. The bus that was sent to take us back to Clendinin was a much newer and more comfortable bus. It came to pick us up at 0415 after making a trip from Ravenswood to Wheeling and back to Ravenswood for the AA State Champion game. Monies were paid by passengers for the NY trip in October. Ravenswood knew 1 week ago they were in the championship playoff. Unless CAVS has a standing contract with WVSSAC - which I doubt- to provide bus service for championship games, this trip which was a school fund raiser, should have had priority. WHY WOULD YOU PUT 54 PEOPLE ON A BUS IN SUCH DEPLORABLE CONDITION TO GO TO NYC? If CAVS was already booked when approached with the NYC trip, they should have the common decency to turn down the trip. I feel certain OSHA would have issue with conditions the CAVS bus drivers are exposed to and I am not so sure their equipment could pass scrutiny by the NTSB.

This company took advantage of 107 people especially one 8 year old boy who has looked forward to this trip for weeks. He especially wanted to see the Christmas tree at Rockefeller Center. I look forward to an investigation by the WV Attorney General. Not only does this company provide a horrible service, they have no qualms doing so.

ZERO STARS

The Cedar Point trip halloween 2010 was awful due to Cav's Coaches.

I am very tempted to sue them for ticket costs, coach bus costs, and hours lost at work due to having a terrible trip and losing the paid time off hours to cover another trip.

The bus arrived at Cedar Point 2 hours late. Which gave time for 2-4 hour wait lines to form at roller coasters....The heat didn't work and only ever blew out cold air. The driver couldn't even get the fog off of the wind shield which was very dangerous. It was 20 degrees outside. The bus was 1989 model with 600,000 miles and NOT maintained AT ALL. The suspension did not work and we felt every tiny bump (Could not sleep at all). The bumps caused the DVD players to not work. The seats were falling apart (you could see screws coming out) and narrow. Everytime the bus pulled out from a stopped position it jerked and seemed like the transmission was ready to fall out. We had two different drivers and BOTH struggled terribly to get the bus to work properly. Neither of the succeded and both were very frustrated. Everyone on the bus complained the entire way there and back. We were freezing, everyone was bundled up and I could see my breath! TERRIBLE experience and TERRIBLE trip. MONEY WASTED!! Thanks for nothing Cav's Coaches!

Worst coach bus I have ever been on

Me and my husband went with some college students to cedar point this past Halloween weekend. If I knew we were going to be traveling on a bus in this terrible shape I would have stayed at home. The bus had no working heat we all froze the whole trip there and back. We were told all was done to fix the problem but the heat never did work, and instead on occasion the fans blew out cold air. Another problem was the bus has severe suspension issues. Every pot hole the bus encountered it felt like the bus was going to come apart. There was no use in bringing movies because every bump the bus hit on the road which was many the TV picture would go out. The bus seemed to be archaic appearing to be twenty years or older. The seats were very narrow and uncomfortable. The only reason we slept was on the bus was because we where exhausted from the trip it certainly wasn't due to comfort.

Not if it is the last bus available!

Air Conditioning not working in 90 degree heat. Students were getting ill it was so hot. We were told it was fixed and it obviously wasn't. We were lied to by the owner and given the run around between the owner and bus driver on what was going to be done and that it was being taken care of. We were told by them there was no one in the area that could take care of it. Not true. Nothing was done until we called a national bus repair company and gave them the bus company number.

A prior experience all the students were unloaded off the bus on the side of the highway until they found out what was wrong with the bus. 40 students on the side of the highway, not much done to take care of the bus, then loaded the bus again to come on home. Not sure what was going on and the safety of the trip.
